Desi Flavours and Modern Pastries

About Desi Flavours, Modern Pastries
Everything here is made fresh to order in my Airoli kitchen, so I need a bit of a heads-up for festival boxes or dessert tables. Because I focus on smaller, artisanal batches, I recommend placing your orders at least 48 hours in advance to make sure I can source the freshest ingredients for your specific date.
People often ask why I focus on fusion. It is because I grew up loving both traditional Indian sweets and modern bakes. Why pick one when you can have both? My kitchen in Navi Mumbai is where these worlds collide.
Take my Nutty Gujiya, for example. These are not the sugar-syrup-drenched versions you find in stores. I follow my mom’s recipe—using homemade mawa, plenty of nuts, and desi ghee—but keep them crisp and less sweet, letting the natural ingredients shine.
Then there’s my Rose Milk Tres Leches cake. It takes a classic Latin American sponge and infuses it with the aromatic, familiar notes of Indian rose milk. It is rich, soaked in goodness, and becomes the centerpiece of any festive table.
When you order a fusion box or a dessert table for your celebration, you are getting small-batch quality. I do not believe in mass production. Whether it’s Rakhi, Diwali, or a family birthday, I handcraft every item.
Quick tips for ordering:
- Festival Hampers: I release these in limited batches, so check the dates early.
- Customization: If you want a specific fusion twist, send me a message. I love experimenting with flavours.
- Freshness: Since there are no preservatives, everything is best enjoyed within a few days of pickup or delivery.
