Why I Bake
I’m Megha, and my kitchen is where classic pastries meet desi twists. People call me “the cake lady,” but there’s way more to what I do. Every treat is made by me, using the same premium ingredients I’d give my own family – like real couverture chocolate and fresh fruits. When you order, you’re getting more than just a sweet; you’re getting a little bit of my story.
What’s Flying Out of My Kitchen
- My eggless brownies are super gooey, with flavors like Double Chocolate Chip, Biscoff, Nutella Ferrero Rocher, and a special Kunafa Pistachio for when you want something hatke (different).
- Brioche doughnuts, also eggless, stuffed with Boston Cream, Belgian Dark Chocolate, or Biscoff.
- I do custom cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies too, perfect for birthdays or just because!
Indian Flavours, Pastry Vibes
I love mixing up Indian classics with pastry techniques. Think nutty gujiya (not too sweet, with homemade mawa and nuts), or rose milk tres leches for that modern twist. During festival time, I make fusion Indian desserts boxes – Pistachio Kunafa Brownies, Rose Kaju Katli, and more.

- If you want a guilt-free treat, my gluten-free tea cake made with ragi, oats, and jaggery hits the spot (just a heads-up: not for diabetic folks).
- For pure indulgence, there’s Snickers Caramel Tart or Biscoff Baked Cheesecake (contains egg – always keeping it real about ingredients).
Gifting & Events
My assorted boxes, handcrafted truffles, and dessert hampers make fab gifts. For events, I can set up a dessert table setup with bite-sized treats – weddings, parties, or even office celebrations.
Just a note: I bake everything fresh on pre-order, from my home kitchen in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. Pickup only, but you can send a Dunzo or Porter if you want. Everything’s made by me, so it’s as personal as it gets.

Hey, I’m Megha, the face behind The Bake House. You know, I was a commerce kid, did MBA and all, never thought I’d be called the cake lady! My mom said no to pastry school first, then cheered me on after MBA. Running this home bakery since 2019 has been mad tiring but so worth it. When folks travel hours for my cakes, I feel pura dil se (from the heart) grateful. Your celebrations, my desserts – that’s what keeps me fired up.
