My Holistic Yoga Practice in Noida
Yoga is more than just stretching; it is about union, or 'jodna.' My practice focuses on building a mind-body connection through proper alignment, consistent effort, and a supportive community.
This is why I teach. Hearing my students share their stories, like overcoming chronic back pain or losing 9 kg in a month, is the greatest reward. My classes are a space for real transformation, focusing on proven techniques to heal both organ and muscle-related issues.
Let's break down the Crow Pose, or Kakasana. I will guide you step by step, showing you how to engage your core muscles and find your balance. Control over your breath is key; the calmer your breathing, the steadier your body and the cleaner your asana will be.
A question I get asked often is, "Can yoga help with anxiety and depression?" My answer is always a definite yes. Just as we eat daily to nourish our bodies, we must dedicate time to heal our minds. Yoga is the most effective practice for releasing stress, tension, and anxiety.
The energy in our group sessions is incredible. Here, we are using resistance bands to deepen the stretch in a lunge variation, building strength and flexibility together. It is all about progress, not perfection, and sharing a smile along the way.
I often add this sequence to Surya Namaskar to build strength. Moving from Plank (Santulanasana) to Dandasana and then into Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana) requires engaging your arm, core, and leg muscles. This controlled flow strengthens the entire body.
Daily leg stretching is essential for overall health. This practice increases blood flow, which can help with issues like varicose veins, and strengthens a weak back by targeting the leg muscles. It also improves flexibility in your joints and builds core strength.
What does it mean to be "good at yoga"? For me, it is not about being acrobatic. It is about mindfulness, accepting my body's limits without judgment, and using my practice as an anchor to quiet the mind. This is the true goal of our journey on the mat.
Personal guidance is crucial, especially in advanced postures like Sirsasana (Headstand). Here, I am providing support to ensure proper alignment and safety. My focus is to help you build confidence and master poses correctly, step by step.
About Featured
In my Sector 104 studio, we don't just go through the motions. Every session prioritizes hands-on alignment corrections using props like blocks and straps to ensure your posture is safe. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or working on your core, I emphasize 'sahi tarike'—doing it the right way—to help you build strength without risk of injury.
My Approach: Beyond the Mat
I believe yoga is a system, not just an exercise. My sessions are designed to be a blend of traditional Hatha, which focuses on static holds to build stability, and Vinyasa Flow, which links movement with breath to improve mobility.
We don't chase advanced acrobatics. Instead, we focus on foundational postures like Surya Namaskar. If you are a beginner, we use props such as foam blocks, straps, and bolsters to bridge the gap between where your body is today and where you want it to be. This is how we ensure that yoga remains accessible and effective, regardless of your current flexibility levels.
The Studio Experience
My studio in Sector 104, Noida, is built for focus. We keep batch sizes small—between 8 to 12 students—because that is the only way I can provide the hands-on adjustments needed to fix your spinal alignment.
Every class includes:
- Pranayama: Dedicated time for breathwork like Anuloma Viloma to calm your nervous system.
- Alignment Focus: Two-way verbal and physical cues to prevent injury.
- Mindful Closing: Guided Savasana and chanting to decompress after the physical flow.
Holistic Healing
Yoga should be a tool for your overall life. Many of my students come to me for therapeutic reasons—managing spondylitis, neck strain, or anxiety. My goal is to teach you a practice that you can carry home, integrating Saatvik eating habits and mindfulness into your daily routine. Yoga is a union, and when you start practicing with proper alignment, the changes in your flexibility and energy levels will naturally follow.
