Guided Yoga Practice and Personal Alignment
Yoga is not just about the pose, it is about the path. I use hands-on adjustments and technical guidance to ensure your alignment is safe and effective.
The journey into an inversion like a headstand requires trust and guidance. Here, I am assisting a student in the tuck position, helping her find her center of gravity and build core strength before extending the legs up.
Another angle of providing hands-on support for a headstand. My role is to ensure the student feels secure, maintains correct shoulder and neck alignment, and builds the pose on a stable foundation. This careful guidance is key to safe practice.
About Guided Practice & Personal Alignment
When you see me assisting a student in a headstand, it is because inversion work requires trust and precise support. I do not just instruct from the front of the room; I move around the studio, physically adjusting your spine, neck, and shoulder alignment to ensure you are building on a stable foundation. You are not just following a video, you are learning the anatomy of the pose so you can practice independently without risk of injury.
Why Alignment Matters
Many people think yoga is about flexibility. They try to copy the shapes they see on social media without understanding the mechanics. This is where injuries happen. My approach, whether in Hatha or Vinyasa, focuses on correct alignment to protect your joints and target the right muscles.
My Hands-On Approach
In my Sector 104, Noida studio, I keep batch sizes limited to 8-12 students. This is a deliberate choice. It allows me to physically correct your posture. If your hips are tilted or your shoulders are compressed, I will guide you into the right position using props like blocks, straps, or my own hands.
We cover:
- Foundational Strength: Learning how to engage your core before moving into advanced asanas.
- Injury Prevention: Understanding body boundaries, especially for those dealing with back pain or neck stiffness.
- Prop Usage: Using chairs, walls, and blocks to safely push your limits.
From Beginner to Advanced
Whether you are practicing Surya Namaskar to build heat or working on a headstand to improve focus, the technique remains the same. Yoga is a union of mind and body. When you get the alignment right, the breathing becomes deeper, and the mental chatter slows down. My goal is to teach you the 'why' behind every movement so you can practice with confidence, not just imitation.

I did not get here by forcing my body into shapes it was not ready for. I spent years understanding the mechanics behind every movement, and now my goal is to guide you through that process without the frustration of trial and error.
