Award-Winning Architectural Narratives
We believe architecture is a dialogue between land and memory, and it is humbling when that conversation resonates beyond our studio walls.
We were elated to have two of our projects, the TAPMI Center and the MARC Auditorium, nominated for the ArchDaily Building of the Year 2025. This recognition places our work alongside some of the best in the world, reinforcing our narrative of modern Indian architecture.
Our Manipal School of Architecture & Planning (MSAP) project was the winner of the TRENDS Excellence Award for Public & Institutional design. We are grateful for this honor, which celebrates our vision for creating democratic and context-driven learning environments.
About Awards & Recognition
Awards like the Trends Excellence Award and ArchDaily nominations are not goals in themselves, but markers of a journey where we explored porous design at the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning. This recognition validates our belief that community-centric, non-linear spaces function as meaningful catalysts for institutional growth.
Our approach has always prioritized the 'why' over the 'what.' When the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning received the Trends Excellence Award, it became a moment of reflection for our entire tribe. It validated our intentional shift away from monolithic structures toward porous, community-centric environments that invite interaction. We do not design for accolades, yet this recognition serves as a testament to the fact that when we prioritize local context, climate responsiveness, and the human experience, the spaces we create speak for themselves.
Recognition from platforms like the World Architecture Festival and The PLAN Award further reinforces our commitment to modern Indian architecture that stays rooted in its origin while engaging with global standards. Whether it is the TAPMI Center or the MARC Auditorium, these projects demonstrate our obsession with material honesty, such as the use of exposed brick and lime plaster, to create meaningful voids and volumes. We view every nomination as an invitation to continue this exploration, proving that architecture, at its core, is a persistent, collective effort to leave the world slightly better than we found it.
