Ecological Ground & Villa Landscape
Site Engineering & Contouring
- Topography Management: Subtle grading and mound creation to mimic natural terrain, ensuring proper drainage and visual depth.
- Soil Conditioning: Extensive remediation with organic compost and red earth to support dense biodiversity.
Architectural Hardscaping
- Pathways: Meandering paths using wire-cut bricks, cobble stones, or raw concrete slabs with grass joints.
- Feature Walls: Low-height retaining walls or accents using exposed materials like Rammed Earth or textured Concrete.
- Water Elements: Inclusion of a small biological water body (reflection pool or lily pond) with natural filtration.
Planting & Biodiversity
- Forest-Style Planting: Multi-layered scheme with ground covers, mid-level ferns, and canopy trees focusing on texture and greenery.
- Native Species: Regionally appropriate species requiring less water and maintenance.
Utilities
- Drainage & Lighting: Sub-surface drainage cells to prevent waterlogging and subtle landscape illumination (bollards/uplighters).
Luxury Terrace & Sky Garden
Structure & Privacy
- Bespoke Shade Structures: Custom-fabricated Mild Steel (MS) pergolas featuring treated bamboo or hardwood slats.
- Privacy Screening: Laser-cut Corten steel screens or dense vertical planting to block views while allowing wind flow.
- Level Modulation: Creation of raised platforms or sunken seating zones with necessary civil work.
Hardscaping & Civil
- Premium Flooring: Combination of outdoor-grade WPC/Teak wood decking and granite/stone pavers in geometric patterns.
- Integrated Seating: Cast-in-situ concrete benches or amphitheater steps finished with stone or wood.
- Waterproofing: High-grade waterproofing membranes and protection screed to ensure zero leakage.
Softscaping & Systems

- Specimen Planting: 6ft - 8ft tall focal trees (Plumeria, Ficus) in large planters with layered tropical shrubs.
- Automation: Fully automated drip irrigation system and IP65-rated mood lighting scheme.
Landscape Design Consultancy Only
Concept & Visualization
- Design Narrative: Development of a site concept note and mood boards reflecting biophilic and cultural ethos.
- 3D Renders: High-quality visuals showing spatial volume, planting maturity, and material interactions.
Technical Documentation
- Working Drawings: Detailed 2D CAD layouts for hardscape patterns, civil levels, electrical points, and plumbing.
- Planting Schedule: Specific scientific names, pot sizes, and spacing for all vegetation.
Supervision
- Material Selection: Professional guidance on selecting natural stone batches, outdoor fabrics, and fixtures.

About Landscape Architecture
Our Philosophy: Landscape is the Heart
Landscape isn’t just an add-on for us - it’s the soul of every project. I see architecture as porous, letting the outdoors flow in and letting buildings quietly blend into the earth. Sometimes the structure almost disappears, other times it emerges from the land itself. Our work is always trying to connect you with sky, soil, and climate as one experience.
How We Work: Indoors and Outdoors as One
There’s no strict line between inside and outside in our projects. We design spaces where movement feels natural, light and views are layered, and every step connects you to the landscape. Often, we use existing trees like a stencil, shaping buildings around them. We’re all about sustainable site planning and ecological landscape design - using local materials like rammed earth and stone, and letting the land lead the way.
Signature Touches: Indian Roots, Modern Spirit
Our courtyards and plazas aren’t empty spaces. They become active hubs for community and sabhas (gatherings). Stepped terraces and amphitheatres draw from traditional Indian ghats, making slopes usable and social. Buildings get green roofs and vertical gardens so they can breathe. We love using raw stone, exposed brick, and earthy pathways for a tactile feel. Every project is a collective process, Indian in spirit but open to the world.

My Story
We started The Purple Ink Studio over 13 years ago, honestly, just a bunch of us wanting to make something together. We’re more a tribe than a company. India’s changing, and we try to keep up—rooted, but curious. Our Winged Tiger Sessions? That’s us, chatting with quiet creators shaping this place. Architecture for us is just life, memory, and a bit of guts—always weaving our stories into something bigger.
My Work
What We Do - We design architecture, landscapes, and interiors for campuses, homes, and cultural spaces, always with a community-centered touch.
Our Way of Thinking - We see architecture as a cultural spark. Every project is about memory, place, and spaces that give back.
Material Love - We play with concrete, stone, brick, and revive local crafts—think red oxide flooring revival and bamboo, from smooth to rugged.
How We Design - Porous architecture design, shifting volumes, inward-looking buildings—spaces that breathe and blend with their land.
Who We Click With - Best with folks who come with open minds, ready to question, explore, and build something non-linear together.
