A two-toned mug with a soft blue-green glaze over a rustic terracotta-colored base. This simple, elegant piece is perfect for your daily coffee or tea.

About this collection

When you pick up a Sip Buddy mug, notice the ergonomic indentation built directly into the rim for your straw. I designed this feature specifically because I wanted a way to sip my chai without the straw getting in the way, and it has become one of my studio’s most loved, functional details for everyday use.

Every piece I throw on the wheel is a reaction to the silence and calm I found when I started this studio. I do not aim for factory-made precision because that is not where life happens. You will find variations in the rim, a subtle fingerprint, or a glaze that shifts in the kiln. These are intentional choices to give each piece character.

I work primarily with high-fired stoneware. It is durable, retains heat well, and is chip-resistant, which is exactly what you need for a daily item like a coffee mug or tea tumbler. For the glazes, I stay away from synthetic looks. Whether it is my signature Forest Green or the ocean-inspired blues, the glazes are food-safe and lead-free.

A quick note on care: while most of these are microwave and dishwasher safe, they are handmade. A little extra gentleness, such as hand-washing, goes a long way in preserving the raw texture on the unglazed bases and the integrity of the finish over years of use.
