Why Water Workouts Work for Me

I run things at Swim n Trim because I love seeing people enjoy fitness, not dread it. My aquatic fitness classes aren't just about exercise - they're about having a blast while moving. Whether you're here for a solid workout or just want to hang with the 'Aqua Gang', the pool is for everyone. Don't worry about swimming skills - most of our moves happen in the shallow end, so even if you can't swim, you're good to go.

What Goes Down in Class

  • I mix up the sessions - some days it's high-energy aquatic Zumba sessions (basically a pool party with dance moves), other times it's water aerobics for beginners or those looking for low-impact cardio in water.
  • If slow and steady is your jam, Aqua Yoga is on the schedule. It’s all about stretching, balance, and letting the water help you relax.
  • We use stuff like pool noodles and aquatic dumbbells. You’ll work your whole body but your joints will thank you since water makes everything easier.

My Story

Water’s been my thing since always. I’m Darshan, the face behind Swim n Trim. Whether it’s catching waves or coaching, I just feel alive in the pool. When I see a kid or even a grown-up get comfy in water, that’s the best part. We had to pause during lockdown, but safety comes first, no? Now, can’t wait to see everyone back, laughing, splashing, and getting fit together. Witness the fitness, yaar!
