What Makes My Classes Different
I want my group fitness classes to feel like a party, not a chore. For me, dance is the best way to shake off stress and connect with people. My sessions are all about moving to the music, letting go, and just enjoying yourself - no pressure to get every step perfect. If you ask my regulars, they'd probably say my classes feel more like a dance workout community than anything else.
Not Just Students - My Zumba Family
Once you join, you’re not just another face in the crowd. We become a little family. Some of my girls have been with me for six years now. We celebrate everything together - Christmas, Holi, Pongal. Our March Madness comp is a highlight, and yes, we love making silly dance reels after class! When it’s Pongal, you’ll hear us yell “Pongalo Pongal!” at full volume.

My Story
Hi! I’m Sharmilla. Dance is my escape, my healer, my happy pill. Been married 22 years, my daughter Roshini is my forever dance buddy – you’ll spot us in reels, always goofing around. My mom’s my backbone. But my tribe? That’s my Zumba family – all those smiling ladies, celebrating everything from Holi to Christmas, grooving to retro Kannada beats. Madurai malli (jasmine) makes me grin. My classes? Pure joy, pure madness, pure family.
