Our Studio and Community
A look inside our Kaggadasapura studio where we focus on functional, traditional yoga. See the space where our community gathers to practice mindfulness and improve health.
Pictured here with a group of dedicated students in our studio. I am committed to providing clear, hands-on guidance to help each individual progress in their practice at their own pace.
A group of students after a class. The community we build is just as important as the yoga we practice, offering encouragement and a shared sense of purpose.
With fellow practitioners at an S-VYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana) event. My teaching is grounded in the principles of traditional yoga institutions, combining ancient wisdom with a scientific approach.
Another photo from the S-VYASA university, a world-renowned yoga institution. My connection to this lineage ensures that my teaching methods are authentic, safe, and effective.
A snapshot with my students. It is rewarding to see them leave the class feeling refreshed, calm, and more connected to their bodies.
About Our Community & Studio
You will notice our studio is not about flashy decor, but about a dedicated space for practical learning. We keep our batches intentionally small so that I can monitor your form and ensure you are comfortable with every movement, whether you are a beginner or a senior student.
Our Space in Kaggadasapura
We built this studio with a simple goal: to provide a consistent environment for traditional yoga practice. Our facility features professional wooden flooring and mirrors specifically for self-correction, ensuring you can observe your alignment and adjust accordingly. We prioritize function over aesthetics because your focus should be on your health journey, not the surroundings.
Why Community Matters
Yoga can be a solitary practice, but it is often more effective when done within a supportive group. Our students range from young children to seniors, all sharing the same space with a non-competitive mindset. This community dynamic fosters accountability and encourages regular attendance, which is vital for seeing real benefits in managing stress, back pain, or diabetes. When you practice alongside others who are also working on their physical and mental well-being, the atmosphere shifts from a mere exercise class to a shared health objective.
Grounded in Tradition
Our connection to institutions like S-VYASA informs everything we do. We do not chase trends or fleeting fitness fads. Instead, we rely on established techniques, including Jyoti Trataka for focus and specific asana sequences for mobility. Whether you are using props like bolsters and straps to assist with restorative poses or engaging in pranayama to improve lung capacity, the guidance is always rooted in the principles of therapeutic, traditional yoga. If you are looking for a place to practice safely and effectively, we invite you to join us.
