Practicing yoga for health does not require perfect flexibility. Here in Kaggadasapura, I teach methods to help with chronic pain, stress, and lifestyle-related conditions through a practical approach.

My sessions often include practices like Jyoti Trataka, or candle gazing. This traditional kriya is highly effective for improving concentration and memory, strengthening eye muscles, and promoting restful sleep by calming the mind.

The Halasana, or Plough Pose, is a core part of my therapeutic sequences. I guide students through this asana to help regulate metabolism for thyroid health, manage blood pressure and diabetes, and alleviate chronic back pain.

In my restorative yoga classes, we use props like straps and blocks to support the body in gentle, healing postures. This approach makes deep relaxation accessible to everyone, regardless of flexibility, and is ideal for managing stress and anxiety.

I teach traditional yogic cleansing techniques such as Jala Neti. This practice involves using a neti pot to cleanse the nasal passages, which provides significant relief from sinus issues, allergies, and improves overall respiratory health.

This video shows a typical group session at my studio. My classes blend dynamic movements with mindful holds, ensuring a balanced practice that builds strength and promotes mental clarity in a supportive group setting.

A snapshot of our wonderful community after a fulfilling class. I believe in creating a welcoming space where students feel comfortable and motivated on their journey to better health.

Here, students engage in a partner exercise using yoga blocks to build core strength. A strong core is fundamental for improving posture and providing essential support to the spine, which helps in preventing and managing back pain.

About Featured

You do not need to be flexible to start. In these sessions, we use props like straps and blocks to make poses accessible, ensuring that even if you are dealing with chronic back pain or stiffness, you can perform therapeutic movements safely. This is not about acrobatics. It is about using specific asanas, such as Halasana, to support your physical recovery and mental well-being.
