About Claydates & Fun with Friends
Just a heads-up: when you book a claydate, you aren't just making a pot, you are making a memory. Even if you have never touched clay, I will be there to guide you through the process, from pinching and coiling to glazing. Don't worry about being perfect; the clay is forgiving, and so are we. You will leave with your own handmade, food-safe piece that is fired and ready for you to take home in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Why choose a claydate? Because it is tactile, grounding, and lets you actually talk to each other without staring at a screen. Whether you are here for an anniversary, a birthday, or just a random Saturday, the studio vibe in my Ghatkopar space is all about slowing down with music, chai, and good company.
What to Expect
The session usually lasts 2 to 2.5 hours. We start with the basics where I show you how to handle the stoneware clay, and then you are free to build whatever comes to mind, be it a mug, a bowl, or a small vase. If you are coming with a partner, we can even do a mix of wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques.
The Logistics

- Materials: Everything is provided, including clay, aprons, and tools.
- Finishing: I handle the professional trimming, bisque firing, and glaze firing for you.
