Creative Pottery Workshops for Families, Kids & Groups
Whether you are planning a unique birthday party, a family day out, or a team-building session, my studio in Govandi is a space to slow down and create. Let's get our hands dirty and make something real together.
What a blast! We hosted a birthday party for a cheerful group of 24 kids and adults. The day was filled with a fun clay workshop followed by a birthday brunch, making for a truly memorable celebration.
A mother and daughter enjoying a playful moment during one of our parent-child workshops. Creating with clay is a wonderful way to bond and have fun together.
A father and daughter proudly holding the small clay figures they made together. These workshops are all about the shared experience of making something with your own hands.
The proud smile of a young artist holding his finished clay turtle. Our workshops for kids are designed to be fun, engaging, and a great way to boost creativity.
So much fun and energy in the studio! It's amazing to see the unique creations and personalities that emerge when kids are given the freedom to play with clay.
A playful moment captured during a parent-child session. These workshops are filled with joy, laughter, and the simple pleasure of getting your hands dirty.
A glimpse into our kids' pottery sessions. From making clay flowers to washing up afterwards, it's all part of the slow, mindful, and sometimes messy process of learning.
It was amazing to see how easily one of our youngest students, Tarini, could wedge a large chunk of clay using a cutting wire. Kids have a natural ability to learn and adapt in the studio.
About Create Together: Workshops for Families, Kids & Groups
When you book a private session or parent-child workshop, the focus is entirely on the experience rather than perfection. You get unlimited clay to play with for three hours, and I personally oversee the bisque firing of your favourite pieces afterward so you have a tangible memory to take home. It is messy, it is loud, and it is a beautiful way to disconnect from screens and connect with each other.
What to Expect
My studio is a place where chaos is welcomed. Whether you are bringing your kids for a Sunday morning of sensory play or a group of friends for a team-building challenge, the process remains the same: we start with raw clay and end with a story.
For Families & Kids (Ages 6 to 14) I tailor these sessions to be tactile and engaging. We do not worry about perfect cylinders or technical precision. Instead, we focus on hand modeling, creating pinch pots, or learning to wedge clay. It is about the rhythm of the hands and the joy of creating. These sessions are usually 2 hours long, designed to keep little minds curious and excited without the pressure of a classroom environment.
For Private Groups & Corporate Events If you have a group of 5 or more, we can turn the studio into your private space for 3 hours. I have hosted everything from birthday brunch gatherings to corporate team-building events. We can run simple challenges or just keep it open and free-flowing. You have access to unlimited clay, and we ensure everyone gets guidance to create something they are proud of.
The Technical Bits While the day is about fun, I take the science of ceramics seriously. Included in your booking is the bisque firing for your selected pieces. This makes your work durable and ready for you to paint or display at home. I handle the kiln work, the drying, and the firing process, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm and maybe an old apron. Sab kuch connected hai, and I cannot wait to see what your group creates.
