Pricing Guide
Junior Foundation Program (3 Days/Week)
Session Details
- Frequency: 3 sessions per week (Mon/Wed/Fri OR Tue/Thu/Sat).
- Duration: 60 to 90 minutes per session.
- Ratio: Large group format (approx. 1:12 coach-to-student ratio).
Training Focus
- Conditioning: Agility ladder drills, hurdle jumps, and bodyweight strength exercises on mats.
- Technical Basics: Grip correction, shadow practice, and fundamental stroke play (toss/lift).
- Drills: Multi-shuttle feeding drills for repetition and consistency.
Facilities
- Shuttles: Nylon/Synthetic Mavis 350 shuttles provided.
- Flooring: Varies by center (Standard Synthetic Mats or Hard/Tile surface).
- Requirement: Students must bring their own racquet and non-marking shoes.
Advanced Competitive Training (Daily)
Intensity & Schedule
- Frequency: 5 to 6 sessions per week.
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours per session.
- Batch Size: Limited to 6-8 players per court for focused attention (1:6 ratio).
Advanced Curriculum
- Tactical: Half-court singles, doubles rotation scenarios, and match simulations.
- Skill Refinement: Complex combination drills (Smash/Keep/Tap) and specialized shots.
- Performance: HIIT fitness, 6-corner footwork drills, and periodic heart rate monitoring analysis.
Consumables & Support
- Shuttles: Feather shuttlecocks provided to replicate tournament conditions.
- Competition: Guidance on tournament calendar planning and registration.
Adult Fitness & Skills (3 Days/Week)
Format
- Schedule: 3 days per week (Morning or Evening slots available).
- Mix: Approx. 40% physical conditioning and 60% game play/drills.
Training Scope
- Fitness: High-intensity cardio, skipping, and core strengthening.
- Technique: Correction of grip and swing mechanics to prevent injury.
- Game Play: Doubles positioning tactics, serving strategies, and controlled sparring with coaches.
Amenities
- Shuttles: Synthetic Mavis 350 shuttles provided.
- Events: Access to internal academy tournaments and community matches.

Who Plays Here
- Kids from 7 years up join our junior badminton coaching program. They get the basics down, but more than that, they learn to love the game.
- Adults? We’ve got you. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen advanced shots, there’s a batch for you. No one feels out of place.
How We Coach
We stick to fundamentals first. Footwork, swing, net play – everything gets broken down. Our coaches keep an eye on every player, so nobody slips through the cracks. You’ll hear us shout, "Chala, chala!" (Come on, come on!) when the energy drops.
What to Expect
- Every session kicks off with warm-ups and stretches to keep injuries away.
- Mix of strength training, agility ladders, and classic badminton court drills.
- Skills like shuttle picking, toss, net tap, and those tricky badminton footwork techniques get plenty of time.
- Real match scenarios so you don’t freeze up during a game.
If you’re hungry to compete, we push you harder with advanced badminton training and prep for tournaments. It’s not easy. Some days you’ll walk out tired, but that’s how you know you’re getting better.

My Story
Back in 2009, we kicked off SP Sports Academy with one thing in mind – make a spot for badminton buffs to feel at home. Now, you’ll bump into our folks in Thane, Bhandup, Airoli – schools, societies, gymkhanas, you name it. Our real flex? Watching students walk in buzzing and leave wiped out but smiling. Seeing names like Vihaan and Kanaka grab trophies, that’s what keeps us fired up. Winning’s nice, but it’s the grit and team spirit that makes us proud.
My Work
Badminton Coaching for All - We train kids (7+) and adults, from first-timers to pros. Regular batches and vacation badminton camps at schools and societies.
Personalised Training by Qualified Coaches - Our NIS-certified coaches give one-on-one attention, making sure each player gets the basics right from day one.
Structured & Fun Sessions - Warm-ups, strength drills, ladder agility, and loads of on-court action – lifts, smashes, drops, you’ll get it all.
Sports Science in Badminton - We use movement load assessment and VO₂ Max checks with sports tech partners, so training fits each player perfectly.
