Interactive Storytelling Sessions for Kids
I bring stories to life using puppets, music, and a little bit of chaos. Join me and Ramya for a session where every child finds their own magic.
Here we are, inviting everyone to the Dum Dama Dum Children's Theatre festival. We love bringing our fun stories about monsters, witches, and friends to new audiences.
My collaborator Ramya Srinidhi and I in our element during a storytelling session at RASIKA. We believe in making every story a performance, full of expression and energy.
Look at the wonder in their eyes. This is what happens when children are completely absorbed in a tale. These moments from our session at RASIKA are why I love telling stories.
Guiding my little actors during an interactive story. We encourage children to step into the roles, giving them the confidence to perform and express themselves.
A glimpse of our performance at the Kukdukoo festival. We use colorful props and costumes to make our stories on folk tales visually exciting for the children.
A successful storytelling session at the Katha Utsav. We told tales of Lord Ganesha and Krishna, and the energy from the children and parents was simply mesmerizing.
Storytelling at 'Happiest Minds' for their 'Sunshine Day'. It's wonderful when corporate spaces invite us to share stories with employees and their families, creating a day of joy.
About this collection
My sessions are not just about sitting and listening. Whether at my JP Nagar studio or a venue of your choice, expect me and Ramya to use hand puppets, live percussion, and interactive theatre to pull your children right into the narrative. We do not use screens; we rely on props, voice modulation, and call-and-response rhythm to keep them engaged for the full 60 to 90 minutes.
We believe that stories are the bedrock of who we are. With Katha Corner, my long-time collaborator Ramya Srinidhi and I strip away the digital noise to return to the root of storytelling—the connection between the teller and the listener.
Our monthly ‘Kathayana’ sessions at Kappanna Angala in JP Nagar are where this truly shines. These are intimate gatherings where we blend Indian folk tales and mythology with live music and character play. You won’t see passive children here; we encourage them to repeat phrases, learn gestures, and occasionally step into the shoes of characters like Ganesha or Shiva.
For private bookings—be it a school event, a corporate 'Sunshine Day', or a birthday party—we bring this entire setup to you. We handle the logistics of puppets, props, and audio, provided you have a quiet space. We deliver in English and Kannada, keeping it bilingual so the nuances of our local folklore aren't lost in translation.
If you are looking for more than just a 60-minute distraction, look for our longer immersive workshops. We want children to walk away not just with a smile, but with a deeper curiosity about their own culture and the confidence to express themselves.
