This is the first glimpse into my world of stories, theatre, and dance. I've selected these moments to give you a feel for the energy and passion I bring to every performance, workshop, and interaction. This is where my heart is, whether on a grand stage or in a cozy circle with children.
Katha Corner: Interactive Storytelling for Kids
I team up with Ramya Srinidhi to create playful storytelling sessions for my kuttis. We use acting, singing, and puppets to bring Indian folk tales and mythology to life in our monthly 'Kathayana' sessions and at various children's festivals.
Summer Sail: Children's Theatre Workshops
My annual 'Summer Sail' theatre workshop is for children aged 7 and above. We explore theatre games, character building, and crafts, culminating in a final stage performance where the kids get to shine.
On Stage: Theatre for Adults
I perform in a variety of plays, from Kannada comedies like 'L.S.D' to poignant dramas like 'Bengaluru Nagaratnamma'. This is where I explore different characters and collaborate with talented artists in the theatre community.
Dance, Drama & Choreography
I choreograph and perform in large scale dance dramas, blending classical forms with storytelling. This includes productions like 'Karunada Vaibhava', my school's magnum opus 'Navarasa Ramayana' with over 600 students, and my student's debut performances.
Workshops & Scholarly Pursuits
I share my knowledge through movement and character workshops for artists and students. I also engage in cultural research, presenting papers at national conferences and delivering lectures on Karnataka's intangible folk heritage.
Stories of Our Land: Cultural Explorations
My travels across Karnataka and India are a constant source of stories and inspiration. I document the history, mythology, and folk traditions I encounter, connecting the past to my present work as a storyteller and artist.
Mentorship & Community
The journey of an artist is shaped by gurus, students, and the community. This is a glimpse into my world of teaching, media appearances, and cherished moments with the people and places that define my work.
