After intense asana and pranayama sessions, we practice deep relaxation in Savasana. This guided relaxation in our main yoga hall allows the body and mind to assimilate the benefits of the practice, restoring energy and cultivating a state of profound peace.

Before you consider our intensive courses, you must understand that this is not a holiday retreat. Our Hatha Yoga Sadhana Intensive operates under strict seclusion protocols, requiring a digital detox where mobile phones are surrendered for the duration of your stay. We demand a high level of physical and mental readiness for up to nine hours of daily practice, supported by a strict salt-free, sattvic diet designed to maintain energy during deep internal work.

Following the teachings of our Guru, Swami Vishnudevananda, we strip away the modern distractions of daily life to allow for a direct confrontation with the Self. Life in the Ashram
Located in the quiet hills of Amboli, our ashram provides the necessary isolation for this journey. Life here is simple and disciplined. You will follow a schedule of daily Satsang, meditation, and intensive asana practice. Our meals are strictly sattvic, prepared to support nerve function during heavy practice, excluding sugar, salt, and spices. This environment is vital for maintaining the focus required for advanced energy work.

This offering is specifically for practitioners who have completed the initial Yoga Teachers Training Course (YTTC-1) and possess a sincere, established daily practice. We prioritize those who seek more than just technical precision; we look for individuals ready to study the classical scriptures like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and engage in the profound, often challenging, work of daily sadhana.
