Our Montessori Teaching Philosophy in Bangalore

At Siksha, we follow the child, creating a space where learning happens naturally through daily observation, respect, and hands-on discovery.

I am deeply inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori, seen here in India. Her core belief to "Follow the child" is the foundation of my school, where I respect each child's unique developmental path and interests.

My day begins by greeting each child with a 'Namaste,' a small gesture of respect that sets the tone for our community. This video captures the warm, personal connection I strive to build with every student, making them feel seen, valued, and safe from the moment they arrive.

About this collection

Every morning, we greet each child at the gate with a 'Namaste,' acknowledging them as individuals. It is not just a gesture; it is our way of honoring the divine in every child and setting a calm, respectful tone for the day before they ever step into the classroom.

My educational approach is built on the foundation of Dr. Maria Montessori’s timeless principles. By observing children rather than hovering, I create a 'prepared environment' where each student can work at their own pace. This is why our BTM Layout and Tavarakere classrooms are filled with low shelves, specialized materials, and child-sized tools.

We emphasize Grace and Courtesy in our daily life. When a child learns to pour their own water, fold a mat, or resolve a small conflict with a peer, they are not just completing a task; they are building internal order and independence. These aren't extra activities, they are the core of our Montessori curriculum.

Because we are an IMC-recognized school, our materials for math, language, and geography are authentic and purposeful. We don't just teach children to memorize facts; we provide the sensory experiences—like using constructive triangles or bead chains—that help them understand abstract concepts through touch and movement. Whether your child is 2.5 or 6, my goal is to guide them toward self-directed learning that instills confidence and a lasting love for discovery.

Siksha Montessori

Center at BTM Layout, BengaluruStarting ₹35,000 One-time

I started Siksha with the conviction that education should be a conversation between adult and child, not just a series of instructions. My daily work revolves around creating a space where your child feels safe enough to explore and confident enough to lead. We aren't just teaching facts; we are nurturing independent, kind, and capable humans.
