A Glimpse Into Our Montessori House of Children
We follow the child to create a nurturing environment where learning happens naturally. From hands-on math to real-life skills, this is where curiosity meets community.
My day begins by greeting each child with a 'Namaste,' a small gesture of respect that sets the tone for our community. This video captures the warm, personal connection I strive to build with every student, making them feel seen, valued, and safe from the moment they arrive.
This is the essence of how we learn mathematics. A child explores geometry using the Montessori Constructive Triangles, discovering how shapes fit together not by memorizing rules, but through tangible, hands-on exploration.
Practical life skills are at the core of my program. Here, a young child practices concentration and fine motor control by carefully cutting a mango, learning independence and contributing to a real-life task.
Learning about the world starts with understanding our place in it. A group of children works together with the world map puzzle, sparking curiosity about different continents, cultures, and the interconnectedness of our global family.
The look of pure wonder on a child's face as he examines an insect is what my program is all about. I foster this innate curiosity, turning it into a scientific exploration and a lifelong love for learning about the natural world.
This piece shows the beautiful integration of learning. A child first researches and understands a topic, then expresses that knowledge through both detailed illustration and written sentences, showcasing comprehension, creativity, and developing language skills.
An everyday task like folding clothes becomes a powerful lesson in order, sequence, and concentration. This practical life exercise helps children develop fine motor skills and a sense of responsibility for their environment.
About this collection
In our classroom, you won’t find rows of desks or static lectures. Instead, we use low shelves and floor mats, allowing children to move freely and choose their work based on their own interests. This is a prepared environment where your child learns by doing, not by listening, which is why you see them deeply focused on everything from geometry to cutting fruit.
Our Montessori Approach in BTM Layout
At Siksha, we are an IMC-recognized Montessori House of Children, which means we strictly follow the authentic methodology developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Our goal is not just academic achievement, but fostering the whole child.
The Prepared Environment We design our space to be accessible and orderly. Low shelves hold carefully selected materials that children can reach and use independently. When a child chooses a 'Constructive Triangle' or a math material, they are not just playing; they are building foundational logic and spatial awareness through tactile experience. We step back so the child can take the lead, intervening only when necessary to guide or introduce new challenges.
Beyond the Classroom Learning at Siksha happens inside and outside the classroom. Whether it is preparing a snack, folding clothes, or exploring the world map, we focus on practical life skills that build self-confidence and fine motor control. We believe that if a child learns to care for their environment and themselves, they develop a sense of responsibility that lasts a lifetime.
Why We Are Different Our BTM Layout and Tavarakere branches are about more than just curriculum. We integrate yoga, art, and festival celebrations into our daily rhythm to ensure physical and emotional growth. We maintain a high teacher-student ratio, ensuring each child gets the observation-based guidance they need to thrive. If you are looking for an educational journey where your child learns at their own pace in a respectful, nurturing, and authentic Montessori setting, we invite you to come and see our space for yourself.
Siksha Montessori
We are a House of Children, not just a school. Every morning, we greet our kids with a Namaste because we believe in honoring the divine spark in every little one. We create a space where independence, curiosity, and kindness grow naturally through hands-on learning.
