At Siksha, art is not just about the final product. It is a vital tool for children to build focus, fine motor control, and express their own unique vision of the world around them.

Our art corner is always available for children to express themselves. This collage shows a child using recycled materials to create, demonstrating that art is about imagination, not expensive supplies.

Art is a daily activity at Siksha. This collage showcases various art projects, from individual drawings to group activities, all celebrating the unique creative expression of each child.

A young girl dressed for Dusshera celebrations stands beside her beautiful, handcrafted wall hanging. Art is integrated with our cultural celebrations, making learning about traditions a creative, hands-on process.

A proud student shows off his paper-folded Ganesha. This art project for Ganesh Chaturthi combines fine motor skills, following sequences, and cultural learning in a single, joyful activity.

Two sisters proudly display their spray-paint artwork created at home. Our distance learning program encourages children to explore different art mediums and work collaboratively.

A child proudly holds up his artwork of a decorated elephant, created for the Dusshera festival. These projects allow children to learn about cultural symbols through their own creative work.

This student displays the intricate elephant-themed hanging he made. This craft project required cutting, pasting, and assembling, all of which are excellent for developing dexterity.

Another beautiful example of a Dusshera art project. I encourage each child to add their own unique touches, ensuring that every piece of art is a personal expression.

Dressed in festive yellow, this child's gentle 'Namaste' pose complements her beautiful handmade craft, blending art with grace and courtesy.

This boy's creative artwork is a wonderful representation of the traditional Ambari elephant. Art helps children connect more deeply with cultural stories and traditions.

About Creative Expression Through Art

In our art corner, we do not give children pre-cut templates or instructions to copy. Instead, they use raw materials—recycled paper, glue, and natural elements—to construct their own versions of festivals or nature studies. It might look messy to some, but this is where the real work happens: when they decide how to fold, cut, and assemble their ideas, they are learning how to solve problems and trust their own creative process.
