Our Montessori Philosophy: Nurturing Inner Development
We believe a child develops best when given the freedom to choose, experiment, and learn at their own pace. Our philosophy centers on creating a prepared environment that honors your child's innate curiosity.

When choosing a school, listen to the teacher's voice. We believe in showing deep respect for the child and giving them the freedom to choose their work.
We guide parents on what to observe in a Montessori environment. Is it orderly, are materials accessible, and most importantly, are the children happy and engaged?
About Our Guiding Philosophy
In our classrooms, you won't find teachers instructing from the front of the room. We act as guides who prepare the environment and observe, waiting for the right moment to introduce a new skill. This allows your child to build confidence through their own choices—whether they are mastering a practical life task like pouring water or exploring sensory materials. We invite you to visit our Jayanagar centre during school hours to see this environment in action; watch how the children move, choose their work, and engage with each other naturally.
How We Approach Early Education
Montessori is more than a curriculum; it is a way of seeing life through the eyes of a child. At Glow'N'Glitter, we move away from standard worksheets and rote memorization. Instead, we rely on the five pillars of Montessori learning to build a strong foundation for your child:
- Practical Life: Helping children gain independence through tasks like buttoning shirts, spooning, and pouring.
- Sensorial: Sharpening the senses by interacting with textures, weights, and sounds.
- Language: Developing oral skills through storytelling and phonetic tools.
- Mathematics: Understanding numbers by touching and moving beads and objects, not just seeing them on a page.
- Culture: Exploring geography, botany, and zoology to understand our place in the world.
The Importance of a Prepared Environment
When you walk into our Jayanagar space, you will notice that everything is at the child's height. This isn't just about furniture; it is about autonomy. When a child can reach their own materials and choose their own work, they take ownership of their learning. We follow the 1:8 student-teacher ratio because personalized attention is necessary for emotional regulation and settling. We are here to support your child's inner development, ensuring they feel secure enough to take risks.
Beyond the Classroom
We believe education is a community effort. Parents are not just observers; you are partners. Through our workshops on nutrition and storytelling, we bring families together to share the journey. From festival celebrations like Onam and Dasara to gardening and nature walks, we ensure that learning is rooted in reality and joy. If you are looking for an environment that respects your child's intellect and celebrates their individuality, we would love to show you around.
Glow'n'Glitter
Namaste. We are Sangeetha and Swetha, and we believe that school should feel like an extension of home. We don't just teach children; we learn alongside them, observing their growth and fostering a community where parents are true partners in the educational journey.
