My art is a continuous conversation with my past and my teachers. Here are the moments of recognition and sacred guidance that ground my professional work.

With my Guru, Pt. Rajendra Gangani, on Guru Poornima. To be able to learn from him in person is a blessing I am forever grateful for. His teachings are the light that guides my path.

A truly blessed and pivotal moment in my life as a composer. Here, I was bestowed with an 'Ankita' or sacred pen name, "Rasikapriya Sri Krishna Vittala," by Pujya Vyasaraja Mutt Swamiji, officially initiating me into the Haridasa tradition.

Humbled to receive the prestigious "Rajyothsava" award from the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI). Recognition from my home state is incredibly meaningful.

It was an honor to be bestowed with the title "Kala-PraPoorna" by the Shivapriya Institute and MS Natyakshetra. I am grateful for this encouragement of my work.

Receiving blessings from my Guruji on Guru Poornima. The Guru-Shishya Parampara, or the tradition of passing knowledge from teacher to student, is the bedrock of classical arts.

The sacred thread ceremony during Guru Poornima. This ritual symbolizes the bond between a Guru and his disciple and the continuation of the artistic lineage.

A collage of moments with my Guruji. His lens showed me a world of endless possibilities, and I am forever indebted to him for the transformation he sparked within me.

The official certificate for the "Rajyothsava" award from FKCCI. This award recognizes my service to the art and culture of Karnataka.

About Recognition & Guru Parampara

I do not view awards or titles as mere accolades to display on a shelf. When I was bestowed the 'Ankita' or sacred pen name by the Vyasaraja Mutt Swamiji, it was not just an honor; it was a mandate to uphold the Haridasa tradition in my compositions. This sense of accountability is exactly what I bring to every project—ensuring that whether I am working on a solo piece or a grand production, it remains true to the shastras and the expectations of my lineage.

The relationship with my Guru, Pt. Rajendra Gangani, is the bedrock of my technique. This Guru-Shishya Parampara is not just sentimental; it is the source of the discipline behind my footwork and the precision in my compositions. When you engage with my work, you are accessing a lineage of practice that prioritizes authenticity over trends.

Receiving the Rajyothsava award from the FKCCI and the Kala-PraPoorna title from the Shivapriya Institute are significant milestones that remind me of my responsibility to keep the performing arts of Karnataka vibrant and alive. These recognitions serve as a guarantee of the quality and depth I bring to the table.

Whether I am choreographing a Kathak performance, directing a large-scale dance-drama, or composing a new musical track, I operate from this foundation. I do not guess; I rely on years of study and the guidance of those who came before me. If you are looking for a collaborator who values traditional roots as much as technical excellence, I invite you to discuss how we can bring this depth to your next project.
