These honors are a humble tribute to the guidance of my gurus at Kalakshetra. They represent a lifelong commitment to Bharatanatyam that I bring to every stage I step onto.

A deeply humbling moment, receiving the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi award for the year 2021 from the Honorable President of India. This is the highest national recognition for a performing artist.

A portrait announcing the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. This honor is a testament to a lifetime of dedication to Bharatanatyam, and I am immensely grateful for it.

A cherished memory of my Arangetram (debut performance) at Kalakshetra with my dear guru, the legendary Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale. Her guidance shaped me as an artist and a person.

A collage I created as a humble tribute to my guru, Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale. The Sangeet Natak Akademi award I received is dedicated to her, my mentor, and to the institution of Kalakshetra.

A precious photograph from my youth, receiving an award from the then President of India, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. This early encouragement set me on my lifelong path in dance.

At the International Dance Day Awards, where I was honored to receive the Golden Gunghroo Award from Dance India Magazine. It is always special to be recognized by the dance community.

The Golden Gunghroo Award itself. A single, golden ghunghroo (ankle bell) representing a lifetime of rhythm and dance. I consider this award a blessing from my mentors and parents.

On stage at the Delhi Tamil Sangam, where I was felicitated along with other Sangeet Natak Akademi awardees. It was an honor to share the stage with such distinguished artists.

Lighting the lamp at the Delhi Tamil Sangam felicitation ceremony. This traditional gesture marks the auspicious beginning of an event and symbolizes the dispelling of darkness with the light of knowledge and art.

About Awards, Legacy & Recognition

While these awards celebrate past achievements, they speak more to the rigorous training methodology I maintain today. When we create a production together, you are benefiting from decades of dedication to the Guru-Shishya Parampara. This is the same discipline we apply whether we are staging a corporate gala or a complex multimedia performance.

Receiving the Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar for the year 2021 was a defining moment, but for me, it is not an end. It is a responsibility to continue the legacy of my mentor, Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale, and the institution of Kalakshetra where I found my identity. My work, whether it is an intimate Bharatanatyam recital or a large-scale tech-fusion production, is grounded in this classical foundation. Awards like the Golden Ghungroo and recognitions from the Delhi Tamil Sangam are validations that our efforts to keep tradition alive while embracing new media, like AI and VFX, resonate with audiences. If you are planning an event, this legacy means you are not just booking a performance. You are ensuring a production quality that has been refined through years of national and international experience. Whether it is a thematic show in the NCR region or a bespoke choreography commission, we bring this same standard of excellence to every project. We invite you to explore our work and discuss how we can bring a unique cultural narrative to your next event.
