Core Conditioning & Strength Training
Forget monotonous crunches. We build core stability, posture, and strength using gymnastics techniques that make you feel capable and strong.
Graceful movement starts with good posture. Here, I am guiding my students through basic ballet arm positions and posture exercises. These fundamentals are crucial for developing body awareness, improving alignment, and adding a touch of elegance to their gymnastics.
This is what building a foundation looks like. We work on exercises that teach self-discipline and hard work, from basic conditioning drills to movements that require focus and perseverance. It’s about creating a strong body and an even stronger mindset.
I believe workouts should be effective and enjoyable. This is one of our fun strength and conditioning circuits where students work together. We use equipment like hoops and mini trampolines to make monotonous drills feel more like a game.
About Core Conditioning & Strength
Most people associate core training with boring, repetitive crunches. Here, we use apparatus like wall bars and mini-trampolines to keep things dynamic. You will work on V-ups, planks, and hollow-body holds, but the focus remains on building functional strength that actually translates to better posture and movement in your daily life.
I have spent a lifetime in gymnastics, and one thing I know for sure: if a workout isn't fun, you won't stick with it. In these sessions, we bridge the gap between serious athletic conditioning and enjoyable movement.
What You Can Expect
We do not do regular gym workouts. Instead, we use:
- Apparatus Training: Utilizing wall bars and resistance straps for deep lunges and controlled stretches.
- Ballet-Inspired Strength: Small, intentional movements that improve your posture and add a touch of grace to your physical foundation.
- Conditioning Circuits: High-rep sets of hollow body holds and V-ups designed to challenge your endurance without the monotony of a standard gym floor.
The Real Talk
We train in a professional sports facility in Varthur. It is a functional space with sprung floors and high ceilings, built for movement. Whether you are a teen looking for a sporting head start or an adult tired of feeling stiff, my goal is to make you work hard while keeping the environment supportive.
You might feel sore, and you might grumble during the plank variations—kabhi kabhi it gets tough—but you will get stronger. My classes are about real progress, measured by how you move and feel, not just by what you see in the mirror.
