A strong leg day isn't just about lifting heavy. It's about building stability and flexibility too. Here is a look at how I integrate strength exercises like deadlifts and leg extensions with mindful yoga stretches like Balasana and Hanumanasana for a complete, joint-friendly routine.

For years, I thought strength training wasn't for me. I was wrong. Adding weights to my yoga practice has deepened my awareness, improved my stability, and brought a new kind of joy to my movement. It’s a journey I encourage for every woman, especially as we age.

If you are joining my classes at Lift Studio in Kochi, do not expect hours of endless cardio. We focus on 'Samasthiti'—a hybrid of resistance training and yoga flows designed for long-term health. You will use kettlebells and bodyweight drills to build bone density and muscle, but we also prioritize hip mobility and spinal health, ensuring that the strength you build is actually usable in your daily life.
