Fitness Beyond Age: Strength and Flexibility Combined
I am 50 and I feel 28. Fitness is not about age or perfection; it is about showing up. Here is a look at how we build strength and flexibility together, one session at a time.
I believe fitness is about connection and fun, not just reps. Here I am balancing between two generations, my son and his friend, during an outdoor workout. We build strength, trust, and make memories all at once.
This is what my group classes feel like. I guide you through each movement, like this arm balancing flow, explaining how to engage your core, arms, and legs. We move together, everyone at their own pace.
Aerial yoga is a beautiful way to build trust and find harmony with a partner. Here, we are creating a heart shape with our bodies, suspended in the air. It’s a practice of love, for yourself and for each other.
Achieving a pose like this handstand split is a journey. It takes courage and consistent practice. In my studio, I help you build the strength and flexibility you need to reach your goals, one step at a time.
Knee pain can be a big problem, but we can work on it. I teach simple, effective exercises using props like a stool or the wall to strengthen the muscles around the knee, providing support and relieving pain.
Fitness should never be boring. I love incorporating dynamic movements like Animal Flow into our sessions. These drills, like the tiger walk and frog jump, build full-body strength and improve coordination while keeping things playful.
There is so much strength in unity. This is my yoga gang, finding balance together, on and off the mat. My group sessions are all about building a supportive community where we lift each other up.
I reversed my biological age from 49 to 30, and I feel stronger than ever. This transformation came from regular exercise and healthy eating habits. I want to show you that age is just a number, and it's never too late to start.
About Featured
You might think you need to be flexible to start yoga, but I work the other way around. We use props like yoga wheels and blocks to safely gain range, so you build the strength you need to hold the pose while your body learns to open up.
My approach is simple: strength and flexibility go hand in hand. If you are strong but stiff, or flexible but weak, you are missing half the picture. I design my sessions to bridge that gap. Whether we are doing animal flow, ashtanga, or aerial hammock work, the goal is functional movement that helps you move better in daily life.
Breaking Down the Moves
We do not just copy poses. I break complex movements, like handstand drills, into small, manageable steps. This keeps you safe and shows you that progress is a game of patience, not perfection.
The Studio Environment
Located in Goregaon, Mumbai, our space is built for real work. We use wooden flooring and equipment like foam blocks, straps, and aerial rigs. It is a supportive community where it is completely normal to wobble, fall, and try again.
Why Animal Flow and Functional Training
I love mixing traditional yoga with dynamic movements. Animal flow exercises build core stability and coordination, helping you feel capable and strong outside the studio as well. If you have been struggling with issues like knee pain, we use wall-supported strength work to support the joints, not just stretch them.
