I do not believe in quick fixes or chasing an aesthetic. Real, sustainable movement is about listening to your body and building a rhythm that lasts, not just a workout that burns.

Movement isn't punishment. It's how you learn to listen to your body. I don't guarantee weight loss in my classes because we work on something deeper: building a strong, resilient body that supports you through life.

What I do promise is strength that shows up in your life, not just in your body. We focus on moving better, breathing better, and resting better. When you do that, your body naturally finds its balance.

We train for longevity. Strong bones, healthy joints, and a happy gut are our focus. My classes are for those who are done chasing weight loss and want sustainable movement habits instead.

My classes focus on building strength, balance, and flexibility from the inside out. It's a holistic approach that goes far beyond what you see in the mirror.

Weight loss? That's a by-product, not the purpose. The real goal is to build a stronger, more capable body that you feel at home in.

I get asked a lot if I guarantee weight loss. My answer is always no. What I can promise is a practice that helps you build strength, mobility, and a better connection with your body.

What you eat moves you, literally. After 20 years of teaching, I've seen how food directly affects your yoga practice. Nutrition isn't separate from yoga; it's the foundation. The first asana you do might just be what's on your plate.

I stopped chasing motivation; it's just a mood. Rituals are a rhythm. I roll out my mat every day, even if it's just for 10 minutes. Sustainable wellness isn't built on hype, it's built on habit.

Yes, I'm busy. Teaching, running, climbing, falling, and getting back up. I choose movement every single day, not because life is slow, but because it isn't. Movement is what holds my life together.

I recently ran a 5K after 20 years, and it reminded me why I should get back in the game. If not for the run itself, then for the delicious post-run stretch, which is my favorite part.

About My Philosophy: Movement for Longevity & Joy

Most people come to me looking for a quick fix, but here is the truth: your body is not a project to be solved. Whether you are 35 or 55, the goal is not to shrink, it is to build a frame that can carry you through the next few decades without pain. When you start my program, expect to unlearn the idea that exercise must be punishing. We focus on joint-friendly strength that allows you to sit, stand, and move with freedom as you age.

When you enter my studio in Kochi or join our online sessions, you will not find high-intensity cardio that leaves you drained for days. You will find a blend I call Samasthiti, where traditional yoga meets functional strength training.

For years, I saw people struggle because they treated their bodies like adversaries. They punished themselves with hours of cardio, hoping to reach a number on the scale. My philosophy is different. By incorporating kettlebells, resistance work, and foundational yoga into a single session, we build what I call longevity strength.

Why this matters:

  • Bone Density: As we age, our bone health becomes paramount. We use controlled resistance to build the density you need to stay active long-term.
  • Joint Freedom: Yoga gives you the range of motion, but strength training gives you the control to use it safely. This is how we prevent the stiffness that creeps in after years of desk work.
  • Mental Sustainability: You will not find me preaching about discipline in a way that feels like a prison sentence. Har din jeet nahi milegi tumhein. You won't win every day. We build habits that accommodate the bad days, the lazy days, and the tired days, so you never have to start over again.

Whether you join my small group classes at Lift Fitness or sign up for 1:1 longevity coaching, the focus remains the same. We are not training for a fleeting look. We are training for a future where you can pick up your grandkids, travel without fatigue, and wake up feeling capable in your own skin. This is about building a foundation that makes you feel at home in your body, no matter the decade.
