About Interior Design & Renovation
Our Philosophy
At Saka Studio, I treat every home as a living, breathing space. I want your place to feel like a sanctuary that’s truly yours, not just some fancy set-up. My approach is pretty simple: I listen, observe, and design spaces that fit into your life and the place they sit in—nothing forced, nothing showy for its own sake.
How I Work
- Light is Everything
I treat light like a material. Big windows, skylights, and smart fixtures mean your home changes through the day—always feeling alive. - Materials with a Story
I pick wood, stone, and lime plaster that age well and feel real, not flashy. I love when a house wears its memories. - Nature, Not Just Views
Gardens, courtyards, and even a little potted plant—bringing the outside in isn’t just a trend for me, it’s part of the design.
What I Offer
- Full home design where every room connects and feels intentional.
- Home transformation with natural materials—especially older spaces that need a fresh start.
- Commercial interiors with a calm, less-is-more vibe that still says something about you.
Little Things that Matter
- Sculptural staircases that double as art
- Bespoke furniture design for that perfect fit
- Touches of traditional crafts (like Sanjhi)
- Color palettes from soft pastels to earthy tones
Not everything works for everyone. Some older houses have quirks you just have to live with, and sometimes the sunlight doesn’t hit just right. But I find that’s where the real charm sneaks in.

My Story
We kicked off Saka Studio in '99, chasing the idea that architecture can be poetry. Not just walls and roofs—spaces that feel alive, you know? Awards are nice, but seeing a family light up in their new home, or catching sunlight dancing across a wall, that’s what gets us. Nature and old-school crafts like Sanjhi cutwork keep us inspired. Whether in a tiny Gujarat town or a hill spot in Coorg, we’re always hunting that ‘soul space’ vibe.
My Work
Our Services - We do architecture, interior design, turnkey projects, landscape design, and heritage home restoration.
Listening Architecture - We design by tuning in—to land, light, and you. Spaces that breathe, not just exist.
Modern Heritage - We blend Indian traditions with modern life, like Sanjhi cutwork interiors, for homes full of delight.
Materiality and Craft - We love earthy laterite walls, hand-chiseled stone, and local textures that give every space its character.
Sustainability at the Core - We use local materials, natural light, and rainwater harvesting—sustainable farmhouse design isn’t just talk for us.
