This is the first glimpse into my work, a curated selection that embodies my philosophy of creating serene, soulful spaces that resonate with their surroundings. Each image and video here is chosen to convey a sense of harmony, craftsmanship, and the quiet luxury of a home that is truly a sanctuary.
Dream Coffee Estate: A Coorg Sanctuary
This home, nestled in a Coorg coffee estate, was designed to be in constant conversation with the surrounding forest. I used natural materials like laterite stone, terracotta tiles, and local timber to create spaces that feel both expansive and intimate, where light and landscape are the primary design elements.
The Varadarajan House: Modern Heritage in the Hills
For this serene hill retreat in Coorg, the focus was on the garden, the valley view, and a connection to cultural heritage. I used a rich, earthy palette of laterite, Kota stone, and granite to ground the home in its landscape, creating intimate nooks that open to a wrap-around deck.
Urban Residences: Light and Serenity in the City
Designing for the city requires a different approach, one that carves out sanctuaries of calm amidst the bustle. These projects from Delhi and Gurgaon showcase my work in creating homes that are filled with light, art, and personal touches, from dramatic entertainment spaces to quiet, contemplative rooms.
Transformative Renovations: Breathing New Life into Old Spaces
I find immense joy in transforming older, disconnected houses into light-filled, contemporary sanctuaries. By removing interior walls, adding large openings to the garden, and using a pale, airy color palette, I restructure spaces to create a fluid, interconnected home that feels serene and whole.
Sculptural Staircases: The Art of Ascent
I see staircases as an opportunity to create a sculptural experience that heightens the sense of movement between spaces. Using materials like copper, steel, and wood, I design them as focal points that are both dynamic and beautiful, playing with light, form, and texture.
A Language of Materials: Texture, Light, and Craft
For me, every material tells a story. I choose surfaces that age gracefully and feel authentic, from the cool smoothness of lime plaster to the rugged texture of laterite and the warm grain of timber. This collection highlights the small details where materials, light, and craftsmanship converge.
Serene Bath Spaces
A bathroom should be a private sanctuary, a place for quiet ritual and repose. I design these spaces with a focus on a pared-down, neutral palette, using natural textures and thoughtful lighting to create an atmosphere of serene calm.
Considered Commercial Interiors
My "less is more" philosophy extends to commercial spaces, where I aim to create calm, pared-down workplaces that still have a strong identity. By using a controlled palette of natural materials like cork, oak, and raw pressed board, I design offices that feel meditative and seamless.
Our Design Philosophy
At the heart of my practice is a belief in creating an 'Architecture of Resonance.' This occurs when a space reflects values of sensory richness, timelessness, and beauty, all viewed through the prism of ecological consciousness and cultural specificity to uplift the human experience.
