This is Bharatanatyam in its full glory. We focus on achieving strong lines, graceful postures, and dynamic movements, like this pose from a performance of a Shiva composition.

The swirl of a Kathak 'chakkar' or spin is pure joy. Here, one of our students performs a Prabandh, a traditional composition, showcasing the energy and precision we cultivate in our Kathak classes.

A glimpse into our Guru-Shishya teaching style. Here, I am breaking down the movements for portraying Sri Rama, focusing on the details of posture and expression to bring the story to life for our students.

Dance is a legacy we share. This is a moment from a 'Jugalbandi' or duet, where my daughter Alar and I bring together the distinct styles of Kathak and Bharatanatyam on one stage.

Our classes are rooted in the ancient texts. This is a short theory session on 'Hasta Prachara' or palm positions, as described in the Natyashastra, the foundational text for Indian classical arts.

Dance is for everyone. Our Kathak-Bollywood fusion classes are all about having fun and moving to the music, blending classical techniques with popular rhythms in a welcoming environment.

A dancer's body is their instrument. We integrate body conditioning and strength training into our curriculum to build balance, mobility, and power, ensuring our students can dance with strength and prevent injury.

The smiles after a successful exam day. We are a close-knit community of dancers, and we celebrate every milestone together, from mastering a new step to completing examinations.

The energy of a stage rehearsal is unmatched. Our students are preparing for the Krishnakumari Memorial Concert, getting a feel for the stage and perfecting their formations.

We are honored to be recognized for our art. Here, Alar and I are receiving mementos from Principal Chief Commissioner Smt. Preeti Garg and actor Sri Yash after a performance for Karnataka Rajyotsava.

About Featured

We don't just teach steps, we break down movements based on Natyashastra principles, ensuring you understand the why behind every hasta or chakkar. This technical grounding, taught with the same care I received from my Guru, is why our students feel confident from the practice mat to the final stage performance.
