The Philosophy Behind Our Landscapes
Before we draw a single line, we read the land. We are a design collective dedicated to landscape architecture that prioritizes ecology, local stories, and the quiet joy of thoughtful spaces.
Our 'Reading Series' is a platform for sharing ideas and sparking conversation. It was a pleasure to host a presentation and engage in a thoughtful discussion about observation, travel, and sketching.

An engaged audience at our studio event. Creating a space for the design community to come together and share knowledge is a vital part of our mission.

The 'Tech 37' building, a project that embodies our philosophy, seen from the street. It stands as a testament to how landscape architecture can create a green oasis that positively impacts the wider urban environment.

About Our Studio & Philosophy
We believe the most resilient landscapes are born from deep observation. When we design for you, we spend time on-site studying topography, sun-paths, and existing biodiversity before considering any changes. This ensures your garden or community space works with nature rather than fighting it, creating environments that feel established from day one.
Our studio is built on a simple premise. We read the land, its history, and its ecology, letting nature lead the design process. Whether we are planning a large public park or a private terrace garden, our starting point is always the same: understanding the site's unique character.
This approach extends to our studio culture. Through our Reading Series, we bring together designers, thinkers, and residents to discuss sketching, urban ecology, and the importance of public spaces in cities like Bengaluru. We believe design is a continuous dialogue, and these events help us refine our own practice.
When you engage us for a project, this philosophy manifests in several key ways:
- Ecological First: We prioritize native plant palettes because they demand less water, thrive in local soils, and support biodiversity.
- Site-Specific Masterplanning: We avoid cookie-cutter layouts. From the angle of a path to the placement of a bench, every element is designed to respond to your specific ground conditions.
- Hands-on Execution: We do not just hand over drawings. We are on-site during grading and planting, ensuring the final result matches the narrative we developed together.
Whether you are looking to transform an industrial site into a green corridor or create a quiet, sensory-focused retreat at home, we bring this same level of rigorous attention to every project. We invite you to look closer at our work and see how we translate these ideas into living, breathing spaces.
