A look into our philosophy of reading the land, where native ecology meets human storytelling in landscapes across Namma Bengaluru.
This is what happens when we let nature take the lead. For the Tech 37 office in Bengaluru, I designed a living facade that has now completely enveloped the building, creating a dynamic, breathing skin that changes with the seasons and challenges the boundary between inside and out.
At the historic Bangalore Club, I designed a new colonnade to respect and enhance the 100-year-old heritage buildings. The structure provides elegant seating overlooking the main lawn, using traditional materials like heritage tiles and local Sadharhalli stone to blend seamlessly with the club's timeless character.
The true measure of a park's success is the joy it brings. This interactive water feature in one of our redesigned public parks in Bengaluru creates a space for spontaneous play and delight, transforming a simple stroll into a memorable sensory experience for all ages.
Here, the built form sets the stage for the landscape to flourish. Revisiting this residential project, I was delighted to see how the integrated greenery has matured, climbing the walls and spilling from the balconies to create a lush, vertical garden that softens the architecture.
A garden should be an experience for all the senses. In this chromatic garden, I designed a journey that engages you with the vibrant colours of the flowers, the fragrance of the plants, and the satisfying crunch of the gravel path underfoot.
My process begins with thoughtful planning, as shown in this detailed site plan for a public park in Indiranagar. This drawing outlines the creation of diverse zones, from active play areas to quiet seating nooks, all designed to foster community use and ecological health.
I have a deep appreciation for the simple, poetic moments in a landscape. The gentle swaying of ornamental Pennisetum grass in the breeze brings a sense of calm and movement, creating a living sculpture that is forever changing and always inviting.
From an aerial perspective, the underlying geometry and thoughtful composition of a landscape become clear. This park, part of a larger residential layout, shows how I use pathways, planting beds, and open lawns to create a structured yet organic space for the community.
