About this collection
When you train here, we don't just swim laps. We focus on the tiny margins that win races, perfecting your start off the blocks, mastering flip turns to save split seconds, and drilling underwater streamlines. You will get real-time split timing from our coaches, meaning you know exactly where you stand against the clock before you even step into a race.
My training methodology centers on the concept of marginal gains. Every stroke is scrutinized, and every flip turn is refined to reduce drag. We utilize our 50m Olympic-size facility in Wilson Garden for the bulk of our endurance sets, which builds the lung capacity and muscular stamina required for competitive meets.
Technique Matters
We integrate high-intensity interval training with stroke-specific drills. Whether you are working on butterfly undulations or fine-tuning your freestyle catch, my coaches are on the deck providing immediate feedback. We don't just watch; we correct.
Simulating Pressure
Training in a vacuum isn't enough. We run internal time trials every other week, using official starting blocks to replicate the nerves and intensity of a real race. You will learn how to handle a meet environment, manage your energy, and execute under pressure. The goal is to make race day feel like just another Tuesday practice.
Beyond the Pool
We do not neglect dryland conditioning. We run bodyweight circuits and core strengthening sessions that specifically target your swimming muscles, ensuring you have the explosive power to back up your technical proficiency. If you are serious about shaving time off your PBs, this is where you put in the work.
Ray Center
I started Ray Center because I wanted a place where speed and heart go hand in hand. My squad is about real effort, not just trophies, and we push each other to be faster every single day. If you want to train hard and celebrate every PB, you will feel right at home here.
