Our Engine Room is where athletes build the explosive power and core stability required for competitive racing, with tailored dry-land conditioning led by expert trainers like Atiba Wade to protect joints while maximizing endurance.
Success in the pool is the result of a 360-degree approach to athleticism. Since 1986, we have understood that swimming is only half the battle. To reach the podium, our athletes follow a strict periodization cycle that balances water sessions in our 50m Olympic-standard pool with high-intensity strength and conditioning in our in-house gym.
The Science of Performance
We do not believe in cookie-cutter training. Our programs cover:
- Dry-Land Conditioning: Focused movements that build functional strength without over-stressing young joints.
- Performance Tech: Occasional stroke breakdown analysis via surface cameras to correct mechanics early.
- Recovery Protocols: When training becomes intense, physical recovery is non-negotiable. Our on-campus facility offers sports physiotherapy, deep tissue soft tissue release, and cold water immersion (ice baths) to manage lactic acid and prevent injury.
