An assessment at RSF goes beyond basic movements. This video shows our use of isometric hold tests and the advanced Bunkie series to evaluate muscular endurance and core stability, allowing us to spot imbalances and make training more effective from day one.

For athletes returning from an ACL injury, objective data is key. This video explains how I use tools like jump mats to compare vertical jump metrics against horizontal hop tests, giving us a more reliable evaluation of biomechanical deficits and readiness to return to sport.

Feeling ready isn't the same as being ready. Post-ACL rehab, I use a battery of tests including countermovement jumps and isokinetic dynamometry to get objective data on limb symmetry and force absorption. This ensures an athlete's return to sport is based on science, not guesswork.

The assessment process starts with the fundamentals. Here, one of my coaches takes an athlete's basic anthropometric measurements, which serve as a baseline for tracking progress throughout their training journey with us.

If you're struggling with squat depth, the cause often lies in hip or ankle mobility. This video demonstrates two quick tests I use to diagnose these limitations, such as the Thomas test for hip flexor tightness, so we can address the root cause and improve your compound movements.

About The RSF Assessment: Your Starting Point

Your assessment is not a generic gym check-in. It is a 90-minute deep dive where we use specialized tools to map your unique biomechanics. We look for hidden asymmetries in your movement patterns that you cannot feel but are likely limiting your strength or increasing your injury risk. You walk away with a clear, data-driven picture of your physical baseline and the exact steps required to address those weak links.

Why does a 90-minute evaluation matter? Because training without testing is training in the dark. Whether you are recovering from an ACL injury or trying to break a plateau in your strength training, your body has specific limitations and strengths that standard gym routines miss.

Our process is rooted in sports science. When you walk into our Koramangala or Jayamahal centers, we do not just watch you move. We measure it. Using handheld dynamometers, we quantify muscle strength on each side of your body to detect deficits. We use force plates to analyze your vertical jump and reactive strength, providing objective data that tells us if you are ready to return to your sport or if your landing mechanics need more work.

We cater to a wide range of individuals. We test youth athletes to help them build a safe, functional foundation. We run elite trials for female athletes to tailor training around their specific physiological needs. We also work with everyday gym-goers who are tired of ineffective workouts and want to finally understand why they cannot hit a certain squat depth or why they experience pain during overhead presses.
