About Youth Athlete Development
Real Training for Real Kids
I build youth athletes from scratch, focusing on more than just drills or early wins. My approach is about shaping a person, not just a player, with consistency over high intensity. If you want your child to peak when it really matters, not just grab a few medals and get hurt, this is what I do.
What I Focus On
- Long Term Athlete Development: I’m all about the long game. I think in years, not quick fixes. Your kid gets a plan that fits where they are now and where they’re headed.
- Foundational movement skills: Before speed, before fancy moves, it’s about mastering basics like running, jumping, and balance. This makes kids adaptable and injury-resistant.
- Age-appropriate strength training: No heavy weights for little ones, just safe, scientific, and fun sessions that teach body control, coordination, and build strong bones.
Not Ignoring the Awkward Phase
Kids go through weird growth spurts where coordination dips. I keep a close eye on that, adjusting training so muscles and bones work together, and we avoid knee, heel, or back injuries that pop up during these times.
Safety First
I bust myths. No, proper strength work doesn’t stunt growth. Yes, girls need this as much as boys. And no, regular sports practice isn’t enough to build real athletic foundations.
More Than Muscles
Mindset matters. I coach kids to stay cool under pressure, set goals, and build confidence that sticks with them outside the gym.
I work with little champs (ages 2-6) and youth athletes (7+). If your kid wants to move better and feel strong, I’ve got their back.
