Sunday Ramana Satsang at Mekhri Circle
Every Sunday morning, we gather at our Mekhri Circle shrine to chant, sing bhajans, and delve into the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. Whether you are a regular seeker or new to this path, you are welcome to sit with us in stillness and reflection.
A standing invitation to our weekly Ramana Satsang, held every Sunday morning. This is a regular opportunity for the community to gather for prayer, chanting, bhajans, and talks based on Bhagavan's teachings.
About this collection
Our Sunday gatherings are not lectures but shared spaces of silence and devotional singing. When you arrive at our meditation hall near Mekhri Circle, you will find a dedicated environment for the practice of Self-Enquiry, followed by traditional Ramananjali bhajans that help quiet the mind before the start of your week.
The modern pace of life in Bengaluru often leaves little room for stillness, which is why our Sunday Satsang serves as an essential pause for our community. We believe that the path shown by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi is for everyone, regardless of background or prior spiritual knowledge.
What to Expect
Each session begins at 10:45 am and is structured to facilitate introspection. We engage in:
- Prayer and Chanting: Traditional hymns that create an atmosphere of devotion.
- Ramananjali Bhajans: Heartfelt singing that brings the community together in a shared frequency.
- Self-Enquiry Sessions: Guided discussions and quiet meditation focusing on the fundamental question 'Who am I?'.
Finding Us
The gathering takes place at our shrine and meditation hall opposite Tripuravasini at Palace Grounds. This space is naturally ventilated and designed for quiet reflection. While our Sunday meetings are regular, they form the core of our weekly rhythm. If you are new to the practice, do not worry; the space is inclusive, and there is no pressure to speak or perform. Simply sitting in the presence of the shrine is considered a valid form of participation for many.
These sessions are free for all, and they represent our commitment to keeping the teachings accessible. We encourage you to arrive on time to settle into the meditation hall, as the chanting creates a specific resonance that is best experienced from the beginning.
