Youth & Student Spiritual Arts Programs
We nurture young seekers through the traditional arts. At our centre, music, theatre, and dance become tools for self-enquiry and inner growth.
We present "Vishwa Guru Bharata," a theatre presentation by 100 students from Sri Manjunatha School as part of our RAISE program. This event showcases how we use theatre arts for holistic development and self-awareness.
An invitation to "Shresta Bharatha," a dance drama presented by 100 students as part of our RAISE Cultural Festival. This Sri Chandan Nambiar Memorial Programme empowers students through art-form interventions for self-awareness.
We present "Nadopasana – Ramananubhavam," a journey in Ramananjali Sangeetham by the young artistes of our Centre. This Founder's Day celebration commemorates the meeting of poet Muruganar and Bhagavan, performed by our students.
About this collection
Our RAISE program (Ramana Art-form Interventions for Self-awareness and Excellence) offers children a structured 7-month path through Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, and theatre. It goes beyond technical skill; each academic cycle concludes with a performance at our auditorium, turning the stage into a space for introspection.
The performing arts are not merely cultural activities here; they are a form of worship and a method of inner exploration. When children engage with Ramananjali Sangeetham or traditional dance dramas like 'Vishwa Guru Bharata,' they are taught to connect their artistic expression to the enquiry 'Who am I?'.
Classes are held at our Sanjaynagar facility and Mekhri Circle shrine. We believe in inclusive education. While some of our specialized RAISE modules involve a sponsorship structure to cover training, costumes, and nutrition, the core essence remains accessible to all. We regularly host national seminars and festivals like Maha Sivaratri, providing students a platform to observe and learn from experienced scholars and artistes.
Parents often find that these programs help children develop discipline, grace, and a quiet confidence. Whether a child is learning a shloka or performing a full-length dance drama, the intent remains the same: to find peace and clarity in the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.
Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning
We serve as a sanctuary for those walking the path of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. We welcome children into our fold to learn shlokas, music, and the value of self-reflection through traditional arts.
