Design is a journey, not just a result. From the initial spark of an idea to the noisy reality of the site, here is how I bring your vision to life.

This is me, in my element. With over 18 years of experience and 300+ projects, my journey has been filled with passion, challenges, and a lot of learning. Design isn't just my job; it's my heartbeat, and every space I create is personal.

It all begins with a conversation. Understanding my client's dreams is the heart of designing their perfect space. I listen to their vision, mix in my expertise, and together, we bring their dream home to life.

Interior design is hard work. It's chaos, pressure, and a million decisions. But I am built for the chaos and wired for the beauty. This is the real, raw process of creating spaces, and it's who I am.

Don't throw away leftover tiles from your site. I love finding creative ways to reduce waste, like turning these beautiful marble pieces into a stylish and functional side table. It's sustainable, unique, and adds a personal touch.

Here are some design mistakes to avoid. Don't follow trends blindly, be yourself. Don't match everything, create interesting mismatches. And remember, you create the wow effect, not the brand.

As an interior designer for a joint family, I often play multiple roles. Sometimes I'm a marriage counselor, balancing a couple's tastes, and other times I'm a referee between siblings sharing a room. It's all part of creating a home that works for everyone.

Here's a personal tip for selecting art: if you see a piece you love, sleep on it. If it comes to your mind the next day, or even in your dreams, you should go for it. Art should be something that speaks to your soul.

Lighting is the heart of any space. It has the power to change the mood instantly. A white light puts you in work mode, while a warm yellow light helps you relax. I believe lighting can make or break the look and feel of a room.

How do I select a color palette? I often get a sense of the right colors just by looking at a client's aura, and 90% of the time, I'm right. I love using a base of neutral colors with a pop of a bold shade to add character and energy.

I prefer custom furniture over standard branded pieces because it speaks about you as a person. Your furniture should reflect your personality and your story, not just a brand name. It's about creating something truly unique.

About The Journey of Creation

True design isn't just about glossy renders; it is about the reality of the construction site. My process is noisy, dusty, and intense, because that is where the actual transformation happens. I don't believe in 'chalta hai' [it's okay] work—if the finishing is even slightly off, I get it fixed. I manage the chaos on site so you get the finished home you deserve.

When you walk into a finished home, you see the comfort and the aesthetics. What you don't see is the three months of logistical planning, the late-night coordination with carpenters, and the strict quality checks that happened behind the scenes.

The Reality of Construction

My work does not happen in a sterile office. It happens on site, where the dust settles, tiles are cut, and walls are moved to make your space functional. I handle everything, from the structural demolition to the final coat of paint, because I believe the designer needs to be the one responsible for the execution. If a piece of joinery does not meet my standards, I pull it out and we do it again. My team knows that I am strict about this—I would rather delay a project by a day than hand over a home that I am not proud of.

Designing with Heart and Vastu

Beyond the construction, I focus on the energy of the home. I often look at a client's aura to understand their color preferences, and I incorporate Vastu principles to ensure the space feels balanced. Whether it is adding a prayer niche with intricate jali work or choosing lighting that shifts the mood from a workspace to a relaxation zone, every detail is intentional.

A Partnership of Trust

My best projects are not the ones with the largest budgets; they are the ones where clients trust my process. I am here to be your partner, not just a service provider. If you are looking for someone who cares as much about the plumbing and the electrical concealed lines as they do about the velvet upholstery, let's talk.
