Living and Dining Room Interior Design
Your living and dining area is the soul of your home. I design these spaces to be as functional for daily life as they are beautiful for hosting guests.
This living room is one of my favorite projects, where vibrant colors and vintage-inspired furniture come together. The green sofa, bold artwork, and classic Indian rug create a space that is full of personality and warmth.
Welcome to a home where every detail is about warmth and luxury. I used a neutral color palette, wooden furniture, and striking striped patterns to create a space that feels both grand and incredibly inviting, right down to the cozy bar corner.
This living room is a study in contrasts, blending bold black and white geometric patterns with soft, neutral fabrics. The result is a sophisticated yet comfortable space, where every piece of furniture and decor makes a statement.
This is that feeling of walking into the home of your dreams. I designed this luxury apartment to be a complete experience, from the long, art-filled hallway to the cozy, neutral-toned bedrooms. It's a space crafted with love for people who feel like family.
A dining space should be designed for conversations and timeless moments. In The Aura House, I used a statement marble-top table, comfortable upholstered chairs, and artistic wall decor to create an elegant setting for making memories.
Here, a modern leather sofa is paired with a vintage-style green couch and colorful abstract art. This mix of styles creates a dynamic and inviting living area that feels collected over time, reflecting a unique and personal taste.
A wide view of this living and dining area shows how different zones can coexist harmoniously. The striped bench, geometric coffee table, and elegant dining set are all tied together by a consistent color palette and a focus on clean lines.
This corner showcases a beautiful blend of textures and styles. The traditional Indian cabinet with brass inlay stands proudly next to a modern sofa, proving that old and new can create a beautiful, cohesive story.
A close-up of the vibrant green sofa, styled with a mix of textured and patterned cushions. The warm wood accents and the pop of color from the artwork create a corner that is both cheerful and chic.
Detail is everything. This traditional wooden cabinet features intricate brass work, adding a touch of royal Indian heritage to a contemporary living room. It’s a functional piece of art that tells a story of craftsmanship.
About The Heart of the Home
Designing your living and dining area is not just about placing furniture, it is about balancing energy and functionality. Whether you want an open-concept flow for hosting guests or a cozy corner for family time, I make sure the layout respects both Vastu principles and your personal story. We start with the heavy civil work, handling the dust and the noise, and finish with the layering of textures, from velvet upholstery to marble accents, that makes a space truly yours.
The most effective living spaces are those that hide their complexity. While you see a beautifully styled room, my process involves rigorous planning. For projects like The Aura House, we integrated smart storage, concealed electrical conduits, and durable Italian marble flooring to ensure the space lasts for years without sacrificing aesthetics.
My approach to living and dining interiors includes:
- Smart Spatial Planning: I look at how you move through your home. Whether it is adding fluted wall panels to hide storage or positioning the dining table for better flow, every change serves a purpose.
- Material Selection: I prioritize quality you can feel. For fixed joinery, I use marine-grade plywood and premium hardware like Hettich or Hafele to ensure longevity. For surfaces, I source marble or high-grade laminates that handle the wear and tear of daily use.
- The Vastu Touch: I integrate Vastu-compliant layouts to ensure the energy in your home feels grounded and positive. This often includes specific placement for prayer nooks or mindful placement of mirrors and water elements.
When we renovate, I don't just focus on the look. I manage the entire process, including the messy structural work. If you choose a full turnkey renovation, I oversee the demolition of walls, electrical, plumbing, and tiling myself. You get a space where vintage pieces, like a brass-inlaid cabinet, can sit comfortably alongside modern automation. Let’s create a home that tells your story.
