Creating Imaginative Rooms for Your Little Ones
I design bedrooms that capture the magic of childhood while keeping the rest of your home organized. Let’s build a space that evolves with your child.
Why not give your child a view of the galaxy every night? This dreamy, custom-lit ceiling in The Aura House turns the bedroom into an adventure, sparking imagination and making bedtime something to look forward to.
A kid's room should be fun and functional. This space features a sleek cupboard for essentials, a Lego-inspired wall for play, and my favorite detail: a house-shaped nook with a roll of drawing paper for endless creativity without the mess.
About Spaces for Imagination
Parents often worry about crayon on walls, but I solve that with integrated, tear-off drawing rolls. It is part of a design approach that balances my need for clean, strict finishing with a child’s natural urge to create. The room looks polished and intentional, yet it remains a safe, messy-friendly sanctuary where your child can actually play.
Designing for kids is fundamentally different from any other residential project because the room has to be a moving target. I don't believe in designing themes that a child will outgrow in six months. Instead, I focus on a modular, flexible foundation.
Why I Design for Growth
When I worked on The Aura House, we didn't just install a cool galaxy ceiling for the ‘wow’ factor. We designed the storage and the workspace to handle the transition from toddler puzzles to teenage study habits. That means high-quality, durable materials that can take a beating, and layouts that prioritize clear floor space over decorative clutter.
The Practicality of Play
My site visits are noisy and full of chaos, but that is where the magic happens. I am personally on-site to ensure the joinery is precise and the finishes are flawless. If the alignment is off, I tell my team to pull it out and redo it. You deserve furniture that lasts, not something that breaks when a toddler climbs it.
From Lego-inspired accent walls to concealed storage that hides the clutter of toys, my goal is to give you a house that feels like yours—not just a playroom that happens to be in your home. Let's create a space that sparks their curiosity while keeping your sanity intact.
