A powder room is your chance to experiment with drama and detail. From hand-placed mosaic art to bold marble veins, I design these small spaces to be the most memorable corner of your home.

I love designing powder rooms that feel like a hidden jewel. For this one, I used a custom semi-precious agate washbasin, dramatic black Marquina marble, and unique cast iron mirrors to create a space that is pure luxury and drama.

The details are not just details; they make the design. This bathroom is a testament to that, with its stunning gold fish-scale tiles, a freestanding black marble sink, and black marble walls with gold veining. It's bold, luxurious, and unforgettable.

This powder room is all about warmth and texture. The golden penny-round mosaic tiles create a stunning accent wall, perfectly complemented by a natural stone vessel sink and brushed gold fixtures.

Here are five of my favorite color combinations for a bathroom refresh. From a dramatic plum and ivory to a serene sage green and white, the right colors can completely transform your bathroom into a stylish sanctuary.

Who says you can't be bold with color in a bathroom? The combination of rich pink subway tiles and dramatic black and white marble creates a powder room that is playful, chic, and full of personality.

This bathroom design is all about sleek, modern sophistication. I paired light grey marble with a statement wall of fluted black marble, adding warmth with pendant lights and a minimalist white vessel sink.

Green and gold is a timeless combination for luxury. In this bathroom, a deep green vessel sink and matching accessories pop against a terrazzo-style wall, while gold sconces and fixtures add a touch of glamour.

An all-white bathroom can feel incredibly serene and spa-like. Here, a textured vanity, a clean rectangular sink, and soft, backlit mirror lighting create a space that is both calming and bright.

A powder room is the perfect place for a bit of design poetry. I used a stunning blue-and-white art panel as a backsplash, paired with a pink marble sink and unique pendant lights to turn this daily space into a work of art.

Looking for bathroom inspiration? Here are five key tips: use a neutral color base, maximize lighting with mirrors and fixtures, choose durable materials, incorporate smart storage, and always add a touch of greenery for a fresh, calming vibe.

About The Art of the Powder Room

I often see people picking beautiful tiles without considering how they interact with lighting. In a powder room, the right angle—whether it is a backlit mirror or a specific pendant position—is what makes your marble veining or mosaic patterns actually pop. If your lighting is not layered, even the most expensive stone can look flat, and that is exactly the kind of detail I obsess over before the glue even dries.
