Pranayama & Meditation: The Inner Journey
Move beyond the physical poses. We guide you through the subtle science of breath control and deep concentration to find stillness amidst the daily rush.
A group of students is fully absorbed in the practice of Trataka Kriya. The candle flame provides a single point of focus, helping to still the fluctuations of the mind.
A student demonstrates the Shanmukhi Mudra used during Bhramari Pranayama. This hand gesture helps to withdraw the senses, allowing for a deeper internal experience.
In the quiet of the studio, students gather for candle gazing meditation. This practice is taught to improve eyesight, enhance focus, and prepare the mind for dhyana (meditation).
A male student practices Bhramari Pranayama, focusing on the internal vibration of the humming sound. This technique is incredibly effective for releasing mental tension.
This student is seated in a stable posture for her pranayama practice. We teach the importance of a steady seat (asana) as a prerequisite for effective breathwork.
Each student finds their own inner quiet during Bhramari practice. We create a safe space for practitioners to explore these subtle and powerful techniques.
A student sits in Sukhasana (Easy Pose) to practice Bhramari. Our course emphasizes that these powerful techniques can be practiced by anyone, regardless of flexibility.

About Pranayama & Meditation: The Inner Journey
In our studio, we don't just sit quietly and hope for the best. You will learn the precise mechanics of Bhramari—the 'bee breath'—where we teach you exactly how to place your hands and direct the humming vibration to calm your nervous system. You will feel the tension release in your head and neck within just a few minutes of proper practice.
Pranayama is not just a breathing exercise; it is a tool to control the fluctuations of the mind. In our sessions, we strip away the complex modern variations and focus on the traditional techniques that actually work for long-term mental and physical health.
Trataka (Candle Gazing)
We use Trataka as a cornerstone of our meditation practice. By staring steadily at a candle flame without blinking, you cleanse the eyes and train the mind to hold a single point of focus. It sounds simple, but it is a powerful way to reduce screen fatigue and develop 'dharana' (concentration). This is part of our Shatkarma-based approach—using the body's natural processes to prepare the mind.
Bhramari (Bee Breath)
This technique is our go-to for anyone dealing with anxiety, high blood pressure, or a racing mind. By blocking the senses with the Shanmukhi Mudra, you turn your attention inward. The humming sound creates a vibration in the skull that acts as a natural tranquilizer. We ensure every student understands the correct posture—whether sitting on the floor or a chair—to keep the spine erect and the breath flowing freely.
We keep our batch sizes small in our Shakarpur studio specifically for this reason. Meditation and Pranayama are subtle arts. You need a teacher to correct your posture, ensure your breath isn't strained, and help you understand the philosophy behind why we do these things. Whether you are looking for relief from daily stress or a deeper, spiritual foundation, we are here to guide your practice.
