Yoga for Strength and Mental Discipline
Yoga isn't just about stretching. I treat it like a martial art. We focus on building real functional power, stability, and the mental toughness I call chankootam.
A look inside one of my group yoga sessions. We focus on the fundamentals, like the upward facing dog and warrior poses, to build a solid foundation of strength and control. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, the intensity is the same for everyone.
The work starts from within. Here, my students are in a group meditation session, learning to quiet the noise and build mental focus. This practice is the core of developing 'chankootam', or true courage.
My training blends different disciplines to keep the body and mind sharp. This session shows a mix of dynamic yoga stretches and stick work drills, designed to improve coordination, agility, and full body strength.
This is what happens when you combine strength, balance, and trust. My training pushes you beyond what you think is possible, building a body and mind that are truly connected and powerful. This is advanced partner yoga that requires complete focus.
About Yoga for Strength & Discipline (Adults)
I don't teach yoga just for flexibility; I teach it to build a body that functions like a weapon. Whether we are practicing Chethana flows or holding warrior poses, the goal is always to sharpen your focus and build real stability. You will be pushed, but you will also learn how to quiet your mind while under physical load.
My approach to yoga is built on the same foundations as my martial arts training. I do not believe in fluff. Every session is designed to make you stronger inside and out.
The Training Philosophy
We mix Chethana and Sports Yoga to focus on functional stability. This means we are not just holding poses for looks. We are building the structural integrity you need for daily life and longevity. If you want a soft, gentle stretch, this might not be the right place for you. If you want to work, sweat, and build actual physical control, you are in the right place.
Building Chankootam
The most important part of my training is the mind. I integrate mindfulness and meditation into every session. You cannot have a strong body if your head is full of noise. We use meditation to build what I call chankootam—the guts and courage to face challenges, whether on the mat or in your life.
How We Work
- No shortcuts: We start from the basics. I don't care if you are a beginner or experienced. If you show up, you work.
- Diet and Fuel: I do not believe in starvation. We look at how you eat to ensure you have the energy to train hard and recover.
- Adaptability: Whether you join my group sessions at the BTM Layout studio or choose online coaching, the intensity remains the same.
You get exactly what you put in. If you are ready to stop making excuses and start building real discipline, let’s get to work.
