This is a custom ceramic mural made of many individual, hand-shaped flowers. I love playing with color and form, and the center of each flower is filled with melted glass for a unique, jewel like effect.

When you choose a wall piece here, you are getting more than decor. You are getting a story. Whether it is a sgraffito-carved platter or a collection of hand-sculpted ceramic flowers, each item is fired individually and painted by hand. If you are looking for identical sets, please note that my hands change slightly with every piece, meaning no two items will ever be perfectly the same. That is the point of handmade pottery.
My Approach to Clay
Every piece I make starts as a simple lump of clay. I use a mix of wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques, often carving designs directly into the surface using the Sgraffito method. This allows me to create intricate textures that catch the light, especially when I incorporate recycled melted glass to create jewel-tone centers in my plates and murals.
Why Hand-Sculpted Matters
Mass production relies on molds, which means every item is a copy. In my studio, I don't use molds. If you look at my ceramic flowers or wall sculptures, you will see subtle variations in the petals and the glaze. These are not flaws; they are the marks of the process. I believe these imperfections are what give a home its character.
