Our Community and Ceramic Journeys
I started Oriri Studio to share my passion for clay, but the most rewarding part has been meeting you. Here is a glimpse of our pop-ups and the wonderful people who have welcomed my work into their homes.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing happy customers. This video captures the wonderful vibe at one of my pop up shops, with people of all ages finding a piece they love.
A collage of some of the lovely people who visited my pop up stall. I'm so touched by the appreciation and love shown for my work.
More happy faces from my pop up sale. It's a wonderful feeling when people stop by just to say they find my ceramics beautiful.
A huge thank you to everyone who bought my ceramics to keep in their spaces. This collage is a tribute to my wonderful customers.
I'm so honored that so many people chose my work to make their own. Your support inspires me to create more and push my boundaries.
The smile on the little girl who bought a ceramic candy cane was priceless. Moments like these are what make it all worthwhile.
It's humbling when people who only know my work from Instagram take the time to visit me in person at a pop up. Thank you.
The first day of our pop up was fabulous. It feels so good to meet people who understand the passion that goes into my work.
We had to bring more stock on the second day because our shelves were getting empty. A great problem to have.
If you are a ceramic lover, please come visit my little store in North Bangalore. It's filled with unique, quirky, and colorful pieces you won't find anywhere else.
About Our Wonderful Community
These photos are my favorite part of the process—they capture the moments when my ceramics leave my shelf to become part of your lives. It is incredibly moving to meet people who have followed my work online and made the effort to come say hello in person at our pop-up markets. Whether it is a chat about glazing techniques or watching a child smile at a clay candy cane, these interactions are the real heart of Oriri Studio.
Pop-ups are more than just sales events for me; they are a vital reality check. In the quiet of my Nagashetty Halli studio, it is easy to get lost in the solitary work of wedging, throwing, and glazing. When I step out into the bustling Bangalore atmosphere—like our regular stops at The Raintree—I get to see how these pieces actually live in your world.
I have always maintained that my work is not for those looking for identical, mass-produced sets. When you visit us, you are browsing one-off pieces. You might find a mug with a slightly different handle shape or a wall plate with unique sgraffito carving. That is intentional. I use a multi-layer glazing process and often incorporate recycled melted glass to achieve the textures you see in our gallery.
If you missed us at a market, my studio in North Bangalore is always open by appointment. This allows me to give you the time to browse the shelves properly, discuss custom commissions for your home, or even plan a small group pottery workshop. I genuinely value the feedback from everyone who stops by—it pushes me to experiment with new shapes and bold, wild colors. If you see something here that speaks to you, feel free to reach out. I would love to tell you the story behind the piece.
Oriri Studio
I am the face behind Oriri Studio, where every piece is a result of my obsession with hand-building. I don't believe in moulds or machines; I believe in the patience of a slow, deliberate process. My studio in North Bangalore is my happy place, but meeting you at pop-ups is what keeps me inspired to create more.
