About Garden & Balcony Accents
Since these are high-fired stoneware or terracotta, they hold up well in Indian weather, but we always suggest bringing wind chimes or delicate figurines inside during heavy monsoon rains to keep the glaze pristine.
Your balcony is more than just a place for plants; it is a space for personality. Our garden collection is born from the same process as our tableware, involving hours of hand-building and multiple firing stages, but with a focus on color and whimsy. We do not use molds. Every mushroom stake that hides among your succulents and every wind chime that hangs in your window is individually shaped and painted by hand.
We utilize stoneware and terracotta bases for their durability outdoors. You will notice that our finishes vary from glossy to matte glazes, often incorporating techniques like sgraffito or hand-painting to give each item its own character. If you see a wind chime with butterfly motifs or a mushroom stake with a unique drippy glaze, know that there is no identical twin for it in our studio.
When choosing pieces for your garden, consider the scale of your pots. Our smaller dip bowls and coasters can often be repurposed as creative garden accents, while our larger sculptures act as focal points.
