Because I use a multi-step glazing process on stoneware, they are durable enough for daily use with hot mugs, though I always recommend hand-washing to keep the hand-painted floral details vibrant for years to come.
When I set out to paint a coaster, I don't just see a flat surface. I see a chance to bring a bit of nature indoors. Over the last few batches, I have created over 100 distinct floral designs, ranging from sunflowers and poppies to delicate, imagined blooms.
