Props are not crutches, they are tools to open your body safely. Whether you need to fix your alignment or deepen a stretch, we use them to help you progress without shortcuts.

Consistency is the bridge between effort and transformation. This video shows a typical class using chairs and wheels to add variety and challenge to familiar poses like side angle and downward dog.

From Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) with blocks to inversions on the rope wall, this clip gives a quick tour of how we integrate different props into a single, flowing class.

Wheel yoga is a fun and effective way to open the spine and challenge your balance. See our students roll, stretch, and flow in this dynamic wheel-focused session.

This montage highlights the versatility of the yoga wheel, used here for everything from warrior poses and forward bends to core-strengthening exercises.

Using a simple wooden stick or dowel can dramatically improve alignment and body awareness. This video shows how we use them to refine poses like warrior and triangle.

Growth is what you feel, not just what you see. This powerful video shows students using the wall ropes to move through intense stretches and inversions, demonstrating their trust and determination.

A peek into our Intermediate Batch, where we use props to tackle more advanced asanas. Notice the synchronized backbends using chairs, building collective strength and focus.

About Yoga with Props: Our Signature Method

In our workshops, we use the Kurunta rope wall system to provide traction that floor-based practice simply cannot offer. This setup allows you to hang, stretch, and invert with full spinal support, meaning you can experience the benefits of advanced backbends or inversions even if you are still building the requisite strength.

Many people come to us thinking props are only for beginners or those recovering from injury. In reality, our most advanced practitioners use them the most. A prop is not an aid that replaces your effort; it is an intelligent tool that reveals where your body is holding back and how you can safely release that tension.

Why Props Change Your Practice

At our Shahdara studio, we look at the body as a system that needs specific input to change. When we use wooden blocks, chairs, or yoga wheels, we are not making things 'easy.' We are making the alignment 'correct.' If you are struggling with tight hamstrings in a forward fold, forcing it will only lead to injury. Using a block brings the floor to you, allowing you to breathe, relax your nervous system, and actually lengthen the muscle fibers rather than straining them.

What to Expect in Our Workshops

Our workshops are intense, but they are never reckless. We cap batches at 12 to 15 participants, ensuring that if you are working on a tricky pose like Hanumanasana (splits) or a headstand, you get hands-on adjustments. We combine this with the Kurunta rope system for spinal decompression and traditional tools like cotton straps for deep engagement. We move beyond just following a routine; we teach you the anatomy of the pose so you understand exactly what you are doing and why. Whether you are in our Delhi studio for a single intensive or a series, you leave with a clearer understanding of your own body's mechanics.
