Ready to see the world from a new perspective? This is where we break down inversions and arm balances into manageable steps. We focus on building the necessary core and upper body strength, teaching you to trust yourself and use props to safely master poses like headstands, forearm stands, and creative partner balances.

Using the wall ropes for Shirshasana (Headstand) is a game-changer. The ropes provide security and help with alignment, allowing you to hold the pose longer and build confidence upside down.

This close-up shows how the ropes support the hips, taking pressure off the neck and shoulders. It's an excellent way for beginners to experience the benefits of a headstand safely.

This forearm balance variation using a chair is a fantastic strength builder. It prepares the shoulders and core for freestanding inversions while keeping the body supported.

The addition of a weight on the chair adds a stability challenge, forcing the student to engage her core more deeply to maintain the pose.

This student shows great form, keeping her body in a straight line from elbows to feet. The chair acts as a guide for proper alignment in this challenging inversion.

Using a block under the head provides extra support and comfort for the neck, making the pose more accessible and allowing for a longer hold.

Here, I am observing and ready to assist as the student practices a supported forearm stand, ensuring he feels safe to explore his limits.

Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand) is the queen of asanas. This video shows how we use chairs and bolsters to create a supported version that calms the nervous system and improves circulation.

Two students practicing supported shoulderstand side-by-side. The props ensure the neck is protected, making this a restorative and beneficial inversion for all levels.

A full class enjoying the benefits of supported Sarvangasana. This pose is a staple in our workshops for its calming effects and therapeutic benefits for the thyroid and nervous system.
